Mesmer Kava — Restaurant in Burlington

I had heard about kava from the show “Hamilton’s Pharmacopeia,” but had no idea where to obtain pure, authentic kava until I heard about Mesmer kava opening in my neighborhood. I was curious to try it, but also skeptical since I had tried other “calming” supplements like CBD with no noticeable effects. The owners are extremely welcoming and knowledgeable, and made me feel safe trying this new drink. This kava is of the highest quality, and you can feel a tangible change in your mind and body- a feeling that is uniquely its own. Mesmer kava promotes a calm but social atmosphere, and has replaced going to a normal bar as my end of week ritual. I was hesitant about trying Kava, but the owners walked me through everything and happily answered all of my questions. Their mixed drinks are amazing and the effect of a wave of calm is like no other. It is not like a "high" or "buzz" at all. More of a Zen like feeling where you are not inebriated in any way at all....

Went here on a whim after hearing about it by word of mouth. A little hard to find, but definitely worth it. A drink will run you about $10 and the owners are just lovely. I felt a nice buzz from the drinks, and they were cheaper than I was expecting. I'd probably warn against driving for a bit...
