After moving to Alamance County I stopped frequenting the bar scene because I couldn’t seem to find a place that was the right atmosphere. That all changed after my first visit to The Silver Corkscrew. The owners go above and beyond to ensure you are well served, comfortable, and having a great time. While I’m happy to drop in any night I’m available, karaoke nights are my favorite and I adore the DJ! Much like the owners, his kind and warm personality is an absolute joy to experience. The entire bar is well decorated, cozy, and truly a hidden gem! The bathroom is always immaculately clean (which sounds too good to be true for any bar but somehow is always the case.) The Silver Corkscrew is hands down one of my favorite places in Burlington! I’ve hosted parties here and attended more than a few events—and every single time, the experience has been top notch. The atmosphere is cozy, classy, and welcoming, and it’s all thanks to Greg and Christie.

Christie’s gift baskets are absolutely amazing—beautifully curated, thoughtful, and full of high-quality items. Whether it’s wine, gourmet snacks, or a personalized touch, she knocks it out of the park every time. I’ve gifted several and they’re always a hit!

And Greg? He’s a rockstar. Super knowledgeable about the wines, always friendly, and makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re stopping in for a quiet glass or throwing a celebration, Greg and Christie make sure it’s an experience you’ll remember.

Walking into the Silver Corkscrew is like walking into what you wish your childhood home could have been. Christie and Greg, the owners, go the extra mile for their patrons and you will leave feeling like you've just spent your favorite holiday with your most beloved family members. I stopped by for a quick visit to see some friends and we stayed for 4 hours just enjoying the marvelous charcuterie and fabulous company. I can't say enough positive things about this place! I don't drink, so I didn't try any wines, but I enjoyed watching my friends find a wide range of choices for themselves, and they all looked and smelled wonderful.
