Edit: the owner contacted me to make it right. To me, that shows a lot. For my second visit, the wait was only a couple minutes. I would still recommend getting names or order numbers, I felt (from both myself and the staff giving me my drink) unsure that the smoothie belonged to me. The frozen berries are bland with the liquid choices, so I also recommend to customers to get an acidic fruit for more pop. Avocado adds great consistency, and spirulina adds a nice flavor and color. Maple syrup is a must sweetener for a New England feel. Thank you to the owner for reaching out to give me a chance to get a second opinion of the Vermont juice company.
(Original) I understand that they are short staffed. It’s not their fault that I waited 40 minutes or that another customer took my drink. But the smoothie really deserves one star. It tastes like ice with a tiny hint of kale. Not worth $9...
Read moreI see other people rave about the juices here but the smoothie I got was the most underwhelming smoothie I've ever had in my life. It had almost zero flavor, wasn't sweet (and I added maple syrup and vanilla), and the top third of it was foam. Not to mention it costs $14 dollars for what looks like a kid size smoothie. I would have thrown it straight in the trash after I took the first drink but because it was so unbelievably high priced I forced it down, though that foam on top wasn't drinkable. So you pay $14 for a kid size smoothie which you can't even drink the top third of. If you enjoy getting ripped off then this is just your place! My daughter did most of the work making her own smoothie when she was 6 and it ranked HIGH HIGH above this smoothie. But if I were you, you would be better off ripping up your cash, throwing it in the wind, and not even wasting...
Read moreI won’t lie , the staff that waited on me not only made me feel unwelcome, but also made me feel uncomfortable for asking about the fruit items available as well as the bases available. I’m spending a heck of a lot of money to purchase two bowls ($40!) with a tip . It’s a great idea to offer this deliciousness with others , but if you don’t appreciate light conversation with a PAYING customer; then perhaps you don’t belong behind the counter ! It’s not hard to be kind and pretend you are a little interested. Not pleased at all ! Btw I tipped only because it’s an option before my items are made and I’m not taken a chance on her doing anything to it! She did not deserve the tip ! I also traveled from Montpelier to purchase these bowls . You just lost a customer ( I may change my mind ) not...
