Located in a strip mall just off the highway, this fast-casual offers easy parking and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu features a variety of fried chicken options, including wings, tenders, and bites, along with Korean-inspired flavors and exciting monthly specials. You’ll also find tater tots, Korean hot dogs, waffles, and desserts to complete your meal.
On this visit, we sampled a few items, including the must-try monthly special: the Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi Burger. It was absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed the Parmesan Fries, Gyoza, Chicken & Waffles, and Chicken Bites. A self-serve fountain soda machine and kiosk for ordering make for a convenient experience, especially if you want to skip the counter line.
The Lemongrass Chicken Burger and the Waffles were clear highlights, bursting with flavor. The Gyoza and Chicken Bites were tasty, though we found the soy garlic sauces a bit on the salty side, but they might pair perfectly with rice (which isn’t offered as a side here so we took out leftovers home to have for dinner). The variety of sauces is impressive, though note they are $1 each.
The rotating monthly specials are a fantastic way to keep things interesting and encourage repeat visits—we’ll definitely be back to try more. I really enjoyed the playlist of vocal dance music. While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it definitely added to the fun atmosphere. Though seating is limited, the quick turnover means we didn’t have trouble finding a spot, even during...
Read moreYesterday was our first time trying out Yas Chicken in Burlington. We were very excited to try it out. We ordered 4 different chicken sandwiches (yas og, yasville hot, 2 yas supreme). Overall taste was great not too salty. So now you’ll ask why the two stars. A few things, chicken in the supreme had no garlic glaze, just a piece of fried chicken. The yasville hot, chicken is supposed to be spicy, it wasn’t spicy at all (see pics attached what we got vs on instagram). Even had my mil try who can’t eat spicy said it wasn’t spicy at all. I am not sure why the sandwiches were made incorrectly. On the top of that, we paid for extra cole slaw for the og sandwich but it wasn’t added. Lastly, the buns. They look to be standard burger buns not brioche, which is quite misleading from the instagram pics. We felt disappointed by the overall experience because of the misleading photos we saw and not matching the sandwich descriptions on their menu. The sandwiches we got looked very sad compared to the posted pictures we saw. We will probably not try again until the sandwiches...
Read moreLoved the staff, they're super friendly! The food was pretty good, seasoning everything we got was exceptional, but most things ordered was very greasy. Got the 4pc waffles and it was the highlight of the order. They're delicious, a little greasy outside, and not greasy on the inside. The Yas sauce is awesome, and the parmesan fries were so good. Perfectly crispy, and not abnormally greasy. Ordered the mac and cheese, it was orecchiette which is not typical for mac and cheese but it makes the dish interesting. It was a little too al dente. The Yas Supreme was good but messy while eating. Also got the coleslaw which is very garlic-spicy forward, but I still enjoyed it. I liked the chicken tenders, juicy, deliciously seasoned breading, but again, pretty greasy. The Duo sandwich was incredibly greasy because even the waffles were fried/flash fried. I couldn't eat more than 1/4 of it in one go on an empty stomach.
I'm willing to try this restaurant a couple more times. If it's still super greasy, I'm gonna stop coming for my...
