I've tried this place twice now, some people seem to like it but it just seems completely flavorless to me, especially for Burlington, I just don't see this place surviving long term, subway has more flavor. The guy at the counter was super nice though and had a different guy for my second experience.
If I could give any advice to the owners it would be to maybe slightly season your dressings and vegetables and meat? Just everything needs something to elevate it, everything taste like a low sodium version is the closest I can come to guessing what's off about it.
New edit so the owner can make some systemic changes: The person that was ranting about this place to me said it must be hit or miss because they have had several wraps that they loved but said their last experience was "mediocre to say the least" If I hear of things changing I will definitely give it another shot because I trust this person's opinion on food and they never steered me wrong before so this place definitely has potential to be great, I just haven't had one of those...
Read moreI was excited to finally check this place out today. Since it's a new spot, I'm going to give a detailed review.
I got Gabe's favorite without bacon. The portion was great. I'm not a fan of the shredded lettuce and ending up taking it off and throwing it away. The bread is nice and soft, the bread is what makes this place able to compete with other local delis. The cookie was standard, same as you get a Burlington Bay or top of the block.
Now, the price was too high, I can get a better sandwich for less at TOB, but TOB doesn't have good bread.
The male staff member was nice, greeted me with a smile, and gave me a deal. The female staff member was rude. She didn't greet me and then looked at me for 5 minutes before asking if I wanted something. She overall wasn't very friendly.
So, overall, it's okay. I'll try it again, but it wasn't worth...
Read moreI have tried SO hard to give this place time to get their act together, and they just keep failing to provide a minimum level of service and quality. The accessible door button is never turned on, and they consistently short-staff during the lunch rush. On a recent lunch order for a group, one of our guests let us know that they got sick after eating a sandwich from them. I've spent almost $750 in lunches with them since they opened, mostly because of parking convenience, and will not spend another dollar here.
There are much better lunch places in Burlington to spend money that genuinely care about their customer. It's pretty much a matter of time before they close anyways, so if you've racked up loyalty $ with them, might be a good time to...
