Mojo Coffee — Restaurant in Burnet

Support local! And the locals do very much support this business.

I’m in town from NYC, and Mojo has it. My brother and I went during slow hours so it wasn’t packed but wow this place can accrue a line. But the line is well deserved. They had a nice list of specialty lattes and other such things. I got the iced Almond Joy and my brother got the strawberry banana smoothie. The person who took our order on the iPad was friendly. We pull up the the window and the young guy is very personable.

My latte was fantastic. I asked for it less sweet and it was to my liking. I could actually taste the espresso whereas I usually can’t at Starbucks. My brother is picky and he loved his smoothie. The price is comparable to the chain, maybe a bit cheaper.

The hype is real. I went in with low expectations and left feeling valued and satisfied. Customer retention happens because of great customer service and a great product. Check this place out if you’re looking for great...

Absolutely amazing! I wasn't sure what I wanted so instead of going through drive thru and making car behind me wait, I went to the walk up counter. I was immediately greeted by the most pleasant man, with whom I made small talk as helped he me narrow down my decision. He left to get the drinks started as a sweet young lady came to take payment and assure me my order would be ready quickly. I was in no hurry and they were busy but by the time finished signing the receipt my two drinks were delivered by another sweet girl. Customer service was by far one of the best I've seen anywhere in a long time. It worked like a well-oiled machine, seamlessly transitioning through each process and so courteous and friendly it makes you want to come back. My coffee, let's just say if I could transplant Mojo Coffee to my area of Houston I would be a regular. If I could give more than 5...

I was a big fan of Mojo when they first opened - their drinks were phenomenal. They had just the right amount of sweetness, their prices were fair, and their staff was friendly and attentive - I had no complaints at all.

But, the past two times I've been to Mojo, I've been disappointed. The specialty drinks are watery and bitter. Their iced coffees are the same, watery and burnt-tasting. My friends and family who also frequent Mojo have mentioned the same issue.

While their staff is still superb, their coffee is not. I'm wondering if it's somehow linked to the new cups they starting using a ways back, perhaps their proportions are off? I noticed that they're much bigger than the old cups.
