For any DoorDashers who might have an order here, please be careful. The manager seemed to have no idea how to confirm or even find out DoorDash information. I was patient and polite, but heard her say that she couldn’t find the order information, even though the DoorDash app specifically directed me here.
I waited 10 minutes, then she gave me the order, remarking how she couldn’t find the order info so she started a new order. That was completely unhelpful for me because, since it wasn’t the original order, I could not enter the code that was supposed to be attached.
I went back up, reluctantly, because I didn’t want to be a bother. I told her that the code wasn’t working, and asked her if that information was anywhere on their device. She treated me like I was stupid, because she didn’t seem to understand that without the code, I couldn’t proceed. She bluntly told me she couldn’t do anything else and stepped away before I could say anything else.
I ended up going to the customer’s address, but I didn’t get paid for the order, and it was a twenty minute trip both ways.
I called the store on my way home, just to request that the manager keep this incident in mind so that this sort of thing doesn’t happen again, also being sure to say that things happen. Instead of maturely and professionally, saying that she would keep that in mind, she instead accusatorily told me that I should never have taken the order, even though she pushed it on me twice, and politely dismissed any lights issues that I raised
She was completely and experience with the DoorDash, ordering software, Seemingly made a mistake that resulted in me, not getting paid for an hour, long venture, and when I politely asked her to keep this incident in mind, she pushed the blame on me, even though I heard her telling her employees several times that she had to start a new order, since she could not find the original orders information.
Throughout this whole incident, I remained calm and professional, despite her behaving in a passive, aggressive and arguably unprofessional manner. So again, if you are a fellow door, dasher, please exercise caution, if you go to this McDonald’s...
Read moreI had stopped at this drive thru location to purchase items for three persons in my vehicle. My order was taken in a timely fashion as well as the payment window in which a receipt was given. The employees were very polite and pleasant. I received my order at the pick up window and we pulled into a parking place due to dine in and driving restrictions. The order upon inspection was for a different customer obviously which was behind us. I proceeded into the building with my receipt and when reaching the counter and explaining to the manager the slight issue, the manager did not inspect my order, but just chucked the entire bag into the trash and began to fill my order off of my receipt the whole time belittling the drive thru employees who were so very nice and pleasant . This type of action was uncalled for and can only cause a less pleasant of a experience to the future customers proceeding through the drive thru . I was apologized to by the manager, but what upset myself once returning to my vehicle, not only being short once again on small cheese burger by the manager, who was more interested in correcting the employees without tact or leadership, but several of the items of which I originally brought in from the other order, which included cheese burgers, could have been used and in which I would have accepted, if management would have taken a minute, to make an assessment and resolve the issue. Read moreNormally I get good service at this McDonald's in Blairsville on route 22. The place did not look busy. It was 1:30pm. 5 cars were in front of me in the drive thru. It took 15 minutes to get my food. I ordered a number 9 which is two cheeseburgers, fries and a coke. When I get to the window to pick up, I was ask to pull ahead. The young lady told me that they had to make more burgers. She gave me my coke and I pulled forward to wait for my food. 5 minutes later when the lady brought my food out, I told her that the coke tasted watered down. She did offer to get me something else. I told her that I already waited too long and had to get going. My two cheeseburgers were really greases. They were not fresh. They tasted awful. McDonald's, you can do better.
