Monroe Hotel — Restaurant in Butler

I ordered some wings... I was new to the Butler area and had wings a few other local places and they were "blah". Wow! Their wings were SO GOOD!! I got a dozen and they literally put SIX wings in one container and six wings in a separate container. All the same flavor...they're just big enough that only six can fit in a large styrofoam container. ...and I have to mention the sauce. I am a creature of habit and usually order garlic or garlic parm every where I go. I asked them what "H&F" sauce was (I'm pretty sure it was HF?). They said it was their house sauce and several patrons immediately began praising it. My husband and I eat there for date nights and we went tonight and this is the first time I have ever had to send food back. I ordered the special there deep fried chicken and it came fully cooked but cold. I was very confused because any fried chicken should come out extremely hot. So I sent it back and was told I would be received a fresh price of chicken. They brought the plate back out with the same chicken which was like warm and now very dry. I didn't even bother to eat it. I just sent it back and got nothing else to replace it because by this time my husband already had his meal done and I didn't want to wait any longer. Our waitress was very nice and keep apologizing. I think Monroe needs to rethink there cook before they start...

This little gem was recommended by a colleague and I’m so glad I took her advice. The food and service is incredible. I chose Italian wedding soup as a side with my entree Mediterranean chicken and both were delicious. The chicken breasts are topped with a layer of spinach, artichoke and caper sauce, then black olives and feta. It was so good I took a friend the next evening.
