McDonald's — Restaurant in Byron Township

After a half dozen visits to this McD's, I won't be returning. The last straw happened today. After placing my order there was a long wait - nearly 10 minutes - due to a technical issue with their cash register/cc machine (things happen...I had no problem with this). I then notices while waiting in line that my bag of food was just sitting by the open pick-up window the entire time. The outside temp was 39 F. Window wide open. I asked that they replace the fries after they told me that the burgers were just put in and had not been sitting out. The lady went back and said she put in fresh fries. I drove off (too soon). Everything was room temp. The fries were brown and soggy. No idea why they would put a bag of food next to an open window and let it sit for ten minutes and think the customer would enjoy it. This isn't the days of a $3 meal. It was ten bucks and change for 3 cheeseburgers and a fry.

If this was the first time I had a subpar experience at this store...I'd chalk it up to bad luck. But my average visit to this location has ranged from Grade C to Grade F. I hope they turn it around someday. BC should have a...

If I could give this McDonalds a zero star rating I would... stay away!!!! Took FOREVER to get our order but the worst part of it all was their lack of attention to the order! Fries barely filled, cold, & soggy. We asked for burgers with NO PICKLE, EXTRA ONION... guess what? Extra pickle was put on and zero onions. My husband's burger had no patty on it either. He also asked for mayo and got zero mayo. I just want to know why it's so hard to fulfill a simple order? The employees could honestly care less about it all too. The atmosphere is also cold compared to the old one. You can't even refill your own drink.. why? Covid.... sad excuse and honestly a huge hassle... other restaurants still allow you to fill your own cup. You can't even get your own ketchup, napkins, or other necessities. This location is a joke. Steer clear! Shout out to Wayland mcdonalds management for making it right! We knew the 84th street mcdonalds wouldn't of done anything to rectify the situation and didn't feel like wasting our time after spending our time already waiting for our screwed up order. 🙄 Just know that all these other negative reviews...

If you like fecal matter/drugs whatever in your food this is the stop! Stopped in for a quick drive thru lunch at the back window I paid with cash, the lady who took the cash proceeded to turn around and make breakfast burritos without changing gloves. I sat and watched her for awhile in disbelief. I got out of the car (passenger) an went into full Karen mode. I spoke with manager who apologized and said she would address it and send her home. I walked out but somehow didn’t believe the sincerity so went back in to get a name but they would not give me a name of the manager or would she come back up, then heard them yelling to stop so they didn’t address my initial concern. I got a younger (not manager) employee telling me she wouldn’t stop and the manager wouldn’t do anything about it. I called the 1-800 they took my basic info and never called, I messaged corporate and as well nothing. They don’t care about your health. I have videos of the manager stating she would address it and as well videos of them younger girl after saying she didn’t and wouldn’t address it. Oh and then got the wrong order...
