I’ve never had a bad experience at mose until today. Service was beyond terrible. I called to place a to go order at 2:49, was told I’d be placed on a 2-5 minute hold which is completely acceptable. I was on hold for 10 minutes and said ok he must of forgot I was on the phone, hung up called directly back and could not get a call to go through. Finally I said I’ll go down and place my order. So me and my niece and nephew waited an hour and a half for our food which was in my opinion excessive especially considering they only had 2 other customers!
I have been craving their artichoke dip with veggies and their pita bread. I received the order and checked to make sure everything was correct. The pretzel, chicken skewer and the two chips and quesos were right but the artichoke dip was no where to be seen and was replaced with a chip and queso.

Read moreMy husband and I tried Mose out when we got out of work early on a Friday. It was the best decision ever to kick off the weekend. Noah immediately made us feel at home. We ordered a couple of mixed drinks. I didn't expect anything special from a classic margarita but they took it up a notch. My husband was also very pleased with his Manhattan. Then Lyzz presented us with our orders. The nachos supreme was a work of art. I'm not one who takes pics of food and posts it but am kicking myself I didn't take a pic of this dish. It tasted as good as it looked, too! My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak which he said was out of this world.
Between Noah and Lyzz talking to us like we were old friends and the wonderful food and drink, we have definitely found our new favorite place and can't wait to go back. See you...
Read moreMose Public House is and "Upscale Dive Bar". It features many Colorado distillates. The featured mixed drinks are so fun! "Bee's Knees" is the drink I want to try next visit! This delightful addition is located in the heart of Canon City's Downtown Historical District. The decor is full of historical photos, the bar itself being a restored relic. The pool tables are clean, balanced & beautifully kept. It is named for a bear that terrorized the area at the turn of the century. Friendly, no-nonsense, skilled bartenders deliver AMAZING drinks! Full pours wine & beer, generous spirits in their mixed drinks, too! This place has it all. I highly...
