I recently visited this ice cream shop and had the chance to try all the available flavors—and I have to say, the experience was both fun and delicious! The ice cream is undeniably yummy, with a rich, creamy texture and vibrant flavors that really stand out. Each one had a unique character, from the fruity options to the chocolatey indulgences, and it’s clear that a lot of thought goes into their recipes.
However, I did find most of the flavors to be on the very sweet side. If you have a strong sweet tooth, this will be perfect for you, but for those who prefer something a bit more balanced or subtle, it might feel a little overwhelming after a few bites. A few less-sweet or more refreshing options (like tart berry or citrus flavors) would be a nice addition to the menu.
The staff was friendly and helpful, and the store was clean and nicely decorated. The overall vibe is fun and family-friendly, making it a great spot to bring kids or meet friends for a treat.
One great feature I appreciated is their loyalty system—you can leave your phone number to collect points, which is a nice perk for returning customers. I’ll definitely stop by again to try new flavors when they rotate them in.
In summary: a tasty and enjoyable place for ice cream lovers, just be prepared for some seriously sweet flavors. Still...
Read moreA messy, disappointing experience. I've tried Bacio di Latte in Calabasas three times, hoping for a different outcome, but each visit was the same. Their tiny cups are completely impractical—I don't know if they are meant for adults or children, but either way, they are absurd. Not even a child can hold them without the gelato immediately overflowing and dripping everywhere. The gelato itself is so warm it melts instantly, turning into a soupy mess before you can even take a proper bite. I don't understand the logic behind these ridiculously small cups that can barely contain a scoop. It's a nonsensical concept for a gelato shop. I even tried to explain my concerns to the staff, asking for a smaller scoop in a more appropriately sized cup so I wouldn't have to race against the melting ice cream to eat it, but they just didn't seem to get it. It's an exercise in futility and waste. I won't be returning and can't recommend this place. I...
Read moreAmazing gelato! So many spots call themselves a gelato shop, but this one truly lives up to the name. The flavors are rich, authentic, and worth the visit. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 for a couple of reasons: When it’s crowded, especially in the late afternoon, it can take up to 45 minutes just to reach the counter. It might help if they limited the number of samples per person during peak hours. Also, I pointed out to one of the young staff members that the outdoor table was dirty, but no one seemed interested in cleaning it. We ended up wiping it down ourselves. Still, the gelato itself is...
