Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
"By the Old Gods and the New, this place is a hidden gem beyond the Wall! I ventured into Sugarfish Sushi, far away from the Seven Kingdoms, and I must say, it was a journey worth taking. The taste of the East has graced the North, and I couldn't be happier. Here's my review:
Ambiance: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sugarfish Sushi has a modest and cozy atmosphere, perfect for those looking to escape the chaos of the Iron Throne. The dimly lit, rustic interior is reminiscent of the Night's Watch dining hall, and it sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.
Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The service was as swift as a direwolf's pounce and as courteous as the honor of the Starks. The staff, clad in their traditional attire, made me feel right at home. They even offered to melt the ice around my heart with their warm greetings and efficient service.
Menu: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sugarfish Sushi offers a vast array of sushi options, from the classic dragon roll to daring White Walker specials. I tried the "Dragonfire Roll," a fiery concoction of spicy tuna, dragon fruit, and jalapeños, and it was an explosion of flavors that would make even Daenerys Targaryen proud.
Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The taste of the sushi was exceptional. The rice was as perfectly cooked as the potatoes at Winterfell, and the fish was as fresh as the snow on the Wall. Each bite was a journey through the Seven Kingdoms of flavor, and I savored every moment.
Presentation: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The sushi at Sugarfish Sushi is presented like a work of art, as if it were crafted by a Faceless Man. The attention to detail in every dish was remarkable, making it almost too beautiful to eat. But like an honorable man, I did not shy away from the challenge.
Value: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The prices at Sugarfish Sushi are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you receive. A feast fit for a king, or in my case, a Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.
In conclusion, Sugarfish Sushi is a hidden treasure beyond the Wall that is worth every step of the long journey it takes to get there. Whether you're a wildling or a member of the Night's Watch, this place has something for everyone. The taste of the East and the warmth of the North combine to create a dining experience that would make even the grumpiest dwarf crack a smile. I shall return, and I encourage you to make the pilgrimage as well. For the night is dark, and full of delicious sushi."

Read moreMy friend and I stopped by because he was craving sushi, and I mean good sushi. We arrived late, about an hour before closing and waited 20 minutes to be seated. The place was popping. The crowd was young, hip and dressed well.
My friend has been here and other eateries in the small chain many times. He knew the menu by heart. The host was very accommodating in finding us a booth setting to the corner.
I've been to Japan and always love seeing the authentic food combinations and flavors in a place like this with a solid chef in charge.
We ordered the Trust me Medium because I wasn't very hungry. The first plate was edamame- fresh delicious and we soaked them in soy sauce which was so tasty and combo. Then the plates started coming out so fast we were still eating one and the second was right there- warm rice got cold. One server in particular seemed like she was having a bad day or something. She literally threw the plate on the table, worse than one would expect in a diner. The plate hadn't stopped spinning and she already had her back to us and was flying away. People two tables o we said she did the same thing to them.
This is premium sushi and sashimi and any person dining here expects the ambiance and service to be part of the experience. This particular server glared at us from across the room and we summoned the manager who apologized. He promised she would not be serving us further. The manager was really chill and very kind and articulate.
We finished before closing but the whole experience was pretty much ruined. I have never seen flippant, slamming and service with attitude like this in my life, even at places that charge 1/5 the prices. Will not be going back to this space. Sticking to my...
Read moreI usually don’t write reviews, I went in to this establishment last night the Host at the front name Sophie or Sophia refused to sit me and my sister. Initially I told her we were a party of four, she said we do not have any room I said OK so me and my sister will just take two seats don’t worry about the other party. She said no I cannot sit you and your sister I said why not she says because you just told me four people, I said but now I’m telling you it’s just me and my sister and there are seats available, She said no I cannot seat you.
so I asked her to get her manager the manager sat me and my sister down and the waiter comes… I asked her if there was any ponzo sauce she said No, then I asked her were there any sauces for any other fishes? she said Ponzu sauce comes with another type of fish (since I asked her for yellowtail) so I said perfect I will get the yellow tail and Ponzou sauce with it, she says no we cannot put the sauce on the fish or on the side. First she lies to me and then says she can’t put the sauce with my type of fish?! I
don’t know if this is the establishments rules or the people working there are just super rude I just left..
Never had anyone refuse service to me telling me I cannot sit anywhere for no appearing reason. I strongly feel like this was racial discrimination from the Host Sophie/Sophia this needs to be...
