Tony D's — Restaurant in Caldwell

The D in Tony D stands for delicious, we just moved back to the area and needed to find a gluten free pizza place as my oldest has a wheat and peanut allergy. Another reviewer called out that their gluten free was the best. I confidently agree, we've had gluten free pizza all over NJ it's hit and missed but this was the closest to fooling me into thinking it wasn't gluten free.

My oldest, 6 yo, with the allergy would not stop asking for more, he would have finished the whole thing if you let him. He will usually have two slices(these are always personal pie sized) but he had over half the pie before we had to cut him off. Our little guy(2 yo) usually go for a normal slice but he was also aggressively eating the gluten free.

We had no adverse reactions from the gluten free pizza

First impressions of Tony D’s was amazing! I know they are known for their speciality pizzas, so I ordered: (1.) The Drunken Grandma which is a fantastic twist on Margarita pizza, and the (2.) Avellino I must say, both were good but the Drunken Grandma was soooo delicious! I also was told the Milano was tasty as well.

I order the square style for both, their thin crust is nice and crispy!

They are on the pricier side for take-out pizza, but understandably delicious. Closer to Woodstock quality and price.

They’re located next to/by Cloverleaf which dominates parking, so parking is a little bit of a pain.

Ordered Pizza last night asked for LITTLE cheese on a personal pie. When it was delivered there was a LOT of cheese on the Pizza. I called TDs back to let them know the issue. I did not receive an apology but excuses to why I didnt explain the amount of cheese on the pie correctly and that they were busy. Wow!!!! I've been orderig Pizzas from TDs for years and have never been dissmissed by TDs like this. Wow. Very poor customer service. Usually phone order staff are wonderful!!! 1 star for the lady who could not apologize. Just very unattractive. However the delivery guy gets 5 stars he was lovely and...
