Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Caledonia Charter Township

Jimmy Johns Delivery service is 5 star and they always go my food to me very fast when I ordered a delivery. I have even been inside this JJs and sat down a few times, no problems, staff usually nice. Well, I moved away and haven't ordered or been here in a few months. So today I was back in downtown Owosso and figured I would stop in for a sub.... no "HIIII, HELLO" when I walked in, which was always their thing. I ordered my sub and I change it around a bit, which for some reason, seemed to annoy the cashier and they girl standing there waiting to make my sub??? I had the munchies really bad and was blown out, so, I really didn't care, I am pretty laid back. I order and get my sub quick. I was planning on sitting down and killing some time before an appointment. I am on a diet and don't drink pop or juice, so I asked for a cup for some water....the following response from an employee is why I am here writing this review "Oh, sorry, wait, errr, you want a bottled water???" Me-"No, just one of these cups will do" Her- " Oh sorry, we are all out of "the water cups" we will have to charge you for a "normal" cup. I just gave her the biggest "WTF" look and walked out, as it was very awkward.... NEVER ORDERING OR COMING BACK TO THIS JIMMY JOHNS ( I brought at least 250$ per month, every month in business in the forms of catering lunch to my clients, HELLO MANCINOS)

Appears we maybe have the case of someone opening up a jimmy johns, hiring a manager who is obviously not hiring/firing the right workers, and then sitting back and not giving a damn. Seeing the same crap happen to that Tumbleweed Cantina....sad. 2 stars only because of their past...

We were in a hurry. We were on our way to a meeting and it was storming out.

My one complaint is that we ate and we sat up front not in the back and the music was just too loud. It reminded me of being in the 1980s in the mall in one of those stores and the music was you know blaring. The music is too loud if people sitting at the same table cannot hear each other!

Now for the good parts let's start with those working. They were funny. They were helpful and very very nice. I thought the girl was putting mayonnaise in the bag with my sandwich and I said I don't like banana issues. Oh no. No, this is somebody else's. Then she started explaining how great their mayonnaise is.

The bread was cooked to perfection. It is every time I've been there and then I normally go to a sandwich place and have to have my meat warmed up because it's so cold you can't hardly eat it. Forgot all about that and realized I didn't have to ask them, It...

I've ordered online through jimmy johm's multiple times, and generally the deliveries are quick, but the last two times I've ordered, its taken ridiculously long to get my food. My previous order was delivered 1 hour and 40 minutes after the received time stated on the app. This time, after 40 minutes of the app sitting on order received, I called the store to make sure this wasn't a technological error of some sort, and explained to them about the previous almost 2 hour wait time of my last order, and I was quickly rushed off the phone, without even a single apology for the wait. I'm not expecting much, but basic customer service is lacking at this location. I work in food service and understand that things happen, but to not even acknowledge the issue or offer any sort of apology for the previous order and instead rush me off the phone is just unacceptable...
