Albert's Mexican Food — Restaurant in California

Today I ordered a bean tostada with side of guacamole, got back to work and did not have guacamole paid $1.20.😠 My upset is a month ago I had the shrimp cocktail tomato & onion tasted bad, made me sick. I called them immediately on these 2 incidents. I reminded cashier of the shrimp and she did not come across as empathetic or offer to at least say next time you come by lunch will be on us, at least show concern and make the customer feel valued I would have still paid, she instead blew me off and was rude by hanging up on me. Keep the money, your customer service and food quality is bad.... You can only get this kind of service from...

I'm convinced there isn't a single fast food spot or restaurant that's half decent in this whole run down neighborhood. The taquitos they serve here (3 for $8 btw) are not good at all and are completely overpriced. Just because you have to pay your employees and keep the doors open does not legitimize you overcharging for less than mediocre food. It's disappointing seeing places like this in the neighborhood I grew up in. It's either run down establishments like these or...

As if Albert’s needs a review. It’s been a staple in my life since I was a teen. I go here solely for the carne asada nachos. They give me life. I had to leave a review for this one in particular because it was above average! These restaurants can sometimes be hit or miss. I wanted to rave about their chips. Fresh, hot and delicious. It was a pleasant surprise.

Their salsas however, were not the typical ones I get from this type of establishment. Still good but...
