This may be the most authentic Chinese food you can find between Eureka, CA and Portland, OR. I ordered the beef tendon combination multiple times as I was in the area. The beef tendon is perfectly cooked, with tender slices of beef marinated in soy sauce, ginger, and five spice powder, complemented by fresh broccoli and perfectly cooked chow mein or fried rice. The unique, red-bean filled fried wontons were a great dessert to end the meal. If you’re looking for more authentic Chinese cuisine in Northern California, this is the place to go! I ordered takeout, and the takeout container is a reusable Japanese-style plastic bento box, which is a great alternative to styrofoam. For those that dine in, there is ample booth seating and even a pool table and karaoke stage for entertainment. The family that recently opened the restaurant is very friendly and hospitable. They are clearly trying their best to serve good, quality food. Everything was so delicious and fairly priced. We will be...
Read moreI had the chicken katsu plate, served with steamed veggies, peanuts, red bean wontons, noodles, shrimp dumplings on the side, and Taro bubble tea to drink.
The layout is very open with a billiard table, dance floor, karaoke projector, and small bar in the corner.
The chicken was crispy and seasoned perfectly, red bean wonton hit the sweet spot in-between bites. The shrimp dumplings were presented beautifully and tasted excellent.
Bubble tea here has alot of options for flavors and either a few types of tapioca pearls or jellies.
Wonderful atmosphere, friendly and welcoming staff, delicious food, and very affordable.
This is certainly a breath of fresh air for...
