Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in California

We were driving home to Los Angeles from Arizona after a graduation ceremony on 13th of March. We were a party of 10 which included 6 children. We decided to wash our hands first and use the bathroom. This should have been my first indication that we were not welcome in this environment - I asked L* who was by the cashier for the key to the bathroom and L* replied in a sarcastic tone, "well if its locked, it means someone is in there."

There was a crowd in the restaurant, so we took orders from the kids and 3 adults stood in line. When it got to our turn, i pre-informed the first server that we were a party of ten with children and she said no problem. As we proceeded down the line to checkout each server was cordial, one of the supervisors came from the back when he realized that there was a hold-up and came out to help with the orders which we appreciated.

When we got to L, who was the cashier, everything just went downhill - I once told L that we were a party of 10 - 2 kids requested for quesadillas and i told L* to put 1 chip each for the children. L* put one and when i corrected L, L said haughtily, "well you asked for 1." I said, no i did not. The supervisor turned around, I guess upon hearing L's tone and told L to get an extra chip while he apologized for the mistake. We requested for cups for water and L* said, well we don't have enough and gave us 6 cups to share amongst ourselves. L* continued with a negative body language and rudely demanding for an ID card during payment.

We felt uncomfortable the entire time sitting in the restaurant, could barely enjoy our meal, took the fun out of our road trip. Although the other staff members were friendly, L* made us feel like we didn't belong in the environment and were...

TERRIBLY SLOW SERVICE!! I used to love this Chipotle until today. It looked like there was about 6 people working. when I came in there was a line of about 6 people including me . They still only had one person helping customers. Other workers looked like they were preparing online orders , cleaning, and restocking . The guy making the customers’ food looked new . he was super slow, wrapped the burritos with turtle speed, and it was just painful to watch. NO ONE HELPED HIM WITH THE LINE. I’ve worked fast food for some years and I know that if there is a line or customers in line waiting , you NEED to prioritize them and knock that line out. This Chipotle team just did not seem to care. I even had to tap my card in the counter to pay and to get their attention. It looks like the manager is the one with red hair and glasses. she did not once jump in to help get the line down. No one seemed to care. Some of us people are on our timed work lunches. I just did not have a pleasant experience at all and I will be writing this on google reviews as well. i’m not one to complain like this but wow i was there for a good 20 minutes in line . absolutely ridiculous. Im Mexican and its Sad how it says Mexican grill but when i walk in Asian girl looks at me like i dont belong in area sure shes racist make sure you walk in looking flashy so your not looked at weird also gave attitude asked me what meat i said the one you have your hand on ready to scoop and she removes hand and asks again then puts wrong sauce i asked for i was paying for extra meat got a smaller plate in the end i just left and the rest of their team just looks at you like your the bad guy no respect for anyone they didn’t even know what attitude she was giving its sad because alot of nice people come here chipotle should be a welcoming environment iv been eating at chipotle since i was young this was the worst experience ever and iv been to so many this has to be the first racist place iv experience other chipotle workers were at least respectful just looked at me bad not knowing what i had just gone through just letting anyone know who doesnt want their day ruined i live in area pretty disappointing my order was completed at 3:44pm 03/16/2023 incase manager would like to see for their own eyes the girl...
