I went to Tory to get two pair of the Reva ballet flats in black and brown, seems simple enough right? Wrong! I tried on the black with the scrunched back in a 8 and asked for the same style, same size in brown, the MANAGER got them for me and I took them to the register. After I left the store I checked the shoes, they were the wrong size and style. I went back, skipped the line and went to the door since I had already purchased items and saw other people doing the same when I was in line, the "bouncer" told me to get in line. I explained to I just needed to make an exchange, he told me they are too busy to help with returns and I needed to come back later. I told him I was on my way home, 30 miles away, and needed to speak to the manager that help me. He continued to be rude to me but I didn't back down and stood there until someone came to help. I explained to them what happened and that I needed the ballet flats with the scrunched back brown size 8, the girl leaves and returns with a box. She pulled the shoe halfway out the box looked me in the eyes and said "8 right?" I walked three steps away and decided to check the shoe, it was a size 5! I turned around again had to literally push my way past the bouncer who was still being rude to me and went straight to the manager (but a different one than who I first dealt with) explained again what happened, she took me to the back and grabbed what she promised was the correct style, size and color and like an idiot I trusted her because she was 100% sure and I honestly just wanted to be done with everything. I drove to my home in La Quinta, 30 miles away, and since I was driving to LA the next day and won't be back until June decided to double check the shoes....WRONG SHOES AGAIN! I take part of the blame for not checking them but seriously? Three times I was given the wrong shoe. I went back the next day to returned them and be done with everything. While the manager on duty that day did give me 30% off the pair I kept it still was not worth all the hassle. As someone who's worked in a lot of retail companies I expect better customer service, especially in a store where you are going to spend a few $100.00 no matter what you buy I also expected better prices from an outlet store. You could get the same shoes for the same or better prices at Nordstrom rack and definitely get better customer service, I will never go back to this Tory...
Read moreLast November 2016 I bought 2 pairs of sandals and the other is a wrong size so I call the store right away because they only have 14 days to return but they told me they will send it to the return label because I live in Orange County but it never happen and by January they send me a gift card for the inconvenient and I can exchange the wrong size anytime. Yesterday I drove to cabazon to exchange the sandal but the manager Katherine (CATHY is telling me that they don't have the policy to send a gift card and she wants to get it back .... and I was shocked and I can't believed what I am hearing from her and she grab the item and the gift card with the other associate named Donovan the Assistant Manager and left me. After few minutes Donovan get back to me and explain to me which I appreciate what he does but the Katherine never say sorry and never face me when Donovan ask me what I want to make me happy when stepping out their store and I told him I want Katherine to talk to me and apologized but Katherine is not available anymore i understand her pride I guess. After few hours we stop by at the store then I saw Katherine (CATHY) in the corner available again. I wasn't really happy driving that far and get a depressing treatment with the manager! I hope Katherine (CATHY)won't do the way she treated me to other...
Read moreTuesday May 25, 2021 I shop so often to Cabazon and recently Tory Burch apparently have a new rule where customers can only purchase 5 items for their whole entire life! What in the world?? I have spent so much money in this store, and all of a sudden they told me and many others that we can’t shop anymore because we purchase so much. I have never been to a store where they limit a customer’s purchase for their entire life. How will this store make money?? Btw, this purchase limitation is only at Cabazon outlet.Tory Burch in Ontario Mills and other outlets doesn’t have this rule. I think the managers there are ruining the business. Also, the manager is rude, impatient, and arrogant. His name is Patrico, be aware of that guy. So, one day (before “their new rule”) we bought 9 shoes and many bags, and after we paid and walked out of the store we noticed they did not include all 9 shoes. So we went back in right away to talk about the issue. Then all of a sudden the manager (Patrico) started getting mad at us and even threw the receipt back to my mom’s hand. I wonder how he became a manager. I feel bad for their employees there. They work so hard while he just stands by the door watching the cashiers. I hope they change the manager, because he is not only bad with customer service, but also how he treats the...
