Clasico Tacos — Restaurant in California

The food is very tasty and the prices are reasonable. But I can’t understand how an order for one beef burrito to go would take 15 + minutes to be ready. This has been the case in five of the six times I’ve ordered food from this place.

Management would have its customers believe that the reason for this is that the food is made to order. So, this means horse s**t’s also on the menu.

The truth: the ingredients are prepared in advance and set out in assembly line fashion. You can even see them all lined up when you’re standing at the register. Meals are ASSEMBLED to order.

So, assembling a burrito shouldn’t take much longer than assembling a sandwich.

To the owners; the location is good, the food is good, and people seem to be eager to enjoy it. So, instead of insulting them by making up lame excuses for the slow service, try rethinking your process.

Until then, don’t expect the continued patronage from those who only get a half hour break for lunch and don’t...

Do not eat here. That's my advice. Go down the street to Don Juan's for real food and excellent customer service.

I ordered the spicy wings, fries, carne asada burrito and what I got were chicken wings drenched in ketchup, mushy day old fries, and a dried up burrito full of beans, rice and a few pieces of meat. Worst food I have ever tasted. How can any restaurant sell food like that? I'm embarrassed for them! I called to let them know and the girl working the counter just giggled and told me she would let the kitchen staff know.

Before I placed my order, I asked about the size of the tacos. Lady seemed annoyed by the question and told me they were normal size. What's normal? 🤷🏿‍♂️ She demoed with her hands, I cracked a joke to lighten the mood, we chatted for a bit as she made recommendations. She turned out to be super nice. We ordered two 3-taco (hard shell) combos with rice and beans. The wait time was a little longer than expected, but the food is very good and well worth the wait.
