It's a 4.5 Service wise we started well then fell off abruptly after our glasses of water were MIA for almost 20 minutes.
My girlfriend Toni, whose birthday we are celebrating, called out to a young man named Manraj (I hope I spelled that correctly - see photo) Manraj stepped up while our server was occupied holding a glass of water, (coincidentally) for a woman who was drying off the beer spilled in her lap. Manraj & really good food saved the day! Toni had coconut shrimp which she brought home the two she couldn't finish because "I'm NOT leaving those, they're too good." Her entree was butter chicken, (looked & smelled fantastic) Steve had steak with fettuccini alfredo. The presentation alone made it look delicious. They know how to "present flavor." We shared a garlic / cheese bread appetizer. Perfectly melted & golden with a great bite ~ balanced between crispiness, warmth and fresh bread chewiness. We had Strawberry Cheesecake (Sooooo good) Chocolate Mousse Cake & Tiramisu The Chardonnay & Zinfandel were enjoyed as much as the delectable...

He rushed to the bathroom and managed to make himself throw it all up. I cut in half every piece of chicken to check the rest. They were literally all raw and under cooked in the middle. I called to inform management so that they could address this health concern to the kitchen. Management was unavailable. The poor host I spoke with, listened to me express the concern and told her that she needs to go inform the kitchen, pressing the significance and importance of this being a public-safety and health concern. I called back again the next day and one more day, trying to inform management. Management was not available for either of...
Read moreJust want you all to know Flames Restaurant and Tap House, in the Raley’s Shopping Center in Auburn is a real gem! Had dinner there this week. It is family owned, and Gabriel and Mai really make you feel welcome. The place is impeccably clean as has a broad menu selection. I had a delicious calzone and my wife had spinach ravioli served with garlic toast. The portions were so large that we took half home to eat the next day. That left room for their ice cream bar; don’t miss the peanut butter fudge or mint chocolate chip! My wife went with the carrot cake. We are returning next week with friends to try more...
