The last three nights my partner and I ate at 3 different Greek places in Sacramento. This one was BY FAR the best. I am comfortable saying this was also THEE BEST meal I have had all year and the best Greek food I have had ever - and I've been to Greece AND my partner and I have been exploring the top 40 restaurants in Sacramento since this summer AND LASTLY we've ate out in a plethora of restaurants in the bay area every Friday, Saturday and Sunday since May. The falafels were cooked so perfectly I had no idea they could be that fluffy, crispy, not moist but not even slightly dry, like I have often found other places. We also ordered one spinach, one meat and one cheese spanakopita and the pastry was not only 6 inches long, it was the fluffiest, sincerely fresh, melt in your mouth, OMG flakey... there are no words. I had the falafel pita and my partner also had the gyro pita and they were both equally fresh, flavorful, I can't wait to go back, thank you for existing, thank you for your talent, deliciousness. All of this was way more food than we should have consumed, and will order less next time, the portions are appreciated. And one last thing... it was all $25!!! ?? Bless this restaurant...
Read moreWe dropped by for lunch and noticed that most people seem to take their food to go, and while they do offer the option to dine in which is what we opted for, I think take out would have been better. The way their system is set up she needs to go in the back to help with the orders and she wasn’t around at times when we needed something, so service is something that can be improved. We ordered lamb kebob with rice which was good, expect a couple of pieces that had strings of fat and we hard to chew. The koufte was tasty and soft and the rice tasted great. The portions for the meat were small for the price in my opinion. I left with bittersweet taste, I wanted to love this place, but unfortunately it did not meet my...
Read moreWe ordered our first meal and we will be back! Our family shared an assortment of dishes including the mezza deluxe (pita, falafel, olives, feta, hummus, baba Ghanouj, dolmas, tzatziki), tabouli, sambosas (1 cheese, 1 spinach, and 1 meat), a lavash wrapped chicken shawarma, lamb kabob, kufta kabob, and a family Mediterranean nachos. Everything was great. We even enjoyed delicious spiced black tea while waiting for our order. The food was good quality. My favorites were the feta, olives, and spinach and cheese sambosas (like bourek, a savory filled flakey warm pastry, heavenly!). The Mediterranean “nachos” were fun and surprisingly tasty. The dining area was humble in appearance, but the service was attentive and the meal...
