This place has absolutely terrible customer service. I want to make it clear that the young kid, male, that helped me inbetween was very kind but he seemed Brand New. And that’s OK. This review is more so directed at the girl that appeared to be the supervisor on shift. She was also kind in her speech. But her leader ship, resolution skills, customer service in general, can use a lot of work. Her name started with the letter M. I ordered a pizza that ended up taking over an hour and a half to receive from the time I ordered.. the girl originally took my order. I was with a group. All of them received their pizzas. Except for us. After waiting about 40 minutes, I gave them time because it was busy, I inquired about my pizza. The kid at the register said they don’t have any record of me ordering the pizza. After about five minutes of him looking through the previous orders, he located my order and said they would start to work on it. I asked if there was any compensation and he said he doesn’t know. And that he was going to let the girl who originally took our order know about the mishap. After waiting another 20 minutes I saw the young kid go on his break and I saw the girl back behind the counter. So I went up to her and I inquired again about the pizza this time I wanted a refund because I was ready to leave. I have a three-month-old baby and we were staying longer than expected already. It was getting late and he needs to get to bed. She claimed that they have no access to give me a refund. That they would need to call their manager to do it. She offered no compensation originally but to wait for my pizza. We were with family, so my mom went up to the register with my aunt and they complained. The only solution the girl offered, was a five dollar refund and a pizza on my next visit. I don’t live in Manteca, and I don’t ever find myself over here. So that was a pointless offer. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just provide a refund. She claimed it was because the pizza was in the oven already. Absolutely terrible customer service. It took an additional 10 to 15 minutes until I finally got my pizza and we left. I think the worst part about this experience, was the lack of accountability. The girl kept saying “You could’ve said…” or “you could have told him. “. Saying that we should have told the young man at the register sooner about the missing pizza order and request a refund. She took zero accountability for her and her team. And was placing partial blame on us. We’re not on the clock earning a check. They are. We paid well over 300 dollars as a group.. yet, we are partial to blame. Whatever bro… I accepted the free pizza on my next visit and gave it to a family member that’s local to Manteca. I ordered a vegetarian pizza (as I am vegetarian) and was delivered a chicken vegetable pizza. When I called to speak to someone about the mistake I was told to "hold on" and could hear a discussion about how it was "my mistake" because when I placed the online order I hit "add chicken." I checked the confirmation email three times and nowhere did it say add chicken. When I finally got to speak to someone and told them what had happened, they never once apologized and told me it would be an hour and a half before they could get me a new pizza because they were slammed. Being as this was the restaurant's mistake, it seems like they would make a little more of an effort to correct this in a timely manor especially since I can't eat the original pizza. When I asked about a refund, I was told they could credit my account for a free pizza but based on how we were treated, we will not be ordering from here anymore so we took the replacement pizza which took two hours to be delivered, a full 3 hours after we placed our original order.
