JJ's Pizza Express — Restaurant in California

We love this place. The food is great and we have always had amazing customer service, until tonight. We ordered a salad and a large pizza to go. Since the World Series was on we decided to have a beer while we waited for our pizza. After the worker who took our order made his own salad, another One of the younger workers went over to the salad bar to start cleaning it up. We Mentioned to him that we had not received our to go salad container yet to make ours. We walked up to the counter and they gave us our containers. My husband went up first to make his salad, as he was making his salad the younger worker asked if we were done yet. I was sitting with our belongings and hadnt had the chance to make my salad yet. After we made our salads we sat back down and waited another 20 minutes. My husband then went up to the counter to ask if our pizza was done yet. It had been done for over half an hour and was sitting on top of their oven, but they acted like they had no idea what we were talking about. They were too concerned about closing up so they can go home instead of giving us our pizza so we could go home and eat it!! Now we have cold pizza to take home to eat. If you haven’t tried JJ’s Pizza Express yet, stop what you’re doing and GO! This place is hands-down the best pizza spot around—second to none. The crust is perfection, the toppings are always fresh, and the flavors are out of this world. Every bite tastes like it was made with love.

And don’t even get me started on the ranch… It’s legendary. I don’t know what kind of magic they put in it, but I could honestly drink it—it’s that good. Creamy, tangy, and just the right amount of seasoning. It’s officially ruined all other ranch for me.

On top of that, the owners are the kind of people you just feel lucky to support. Kind, hardworking, community-minded, and always going above and beyond for their customers. It’s rare to find a local business with this much heart and hustle behind it.

JJ’s Pizza Express isn’t just a place to grab a slice—it’s a staple. A gem. A must-have. We’re obsessed, and we’ll keep coming back again and again. Five stars doesn’t feel...

I stopped in for lunch because I was working nearby.

I got two slices of pepperoni pizza, a single trip to their salad bar, and a drink for less than $10.

The pizza was great. It had the right amount of pepperoni, cheese, and sauce. It was hot and fresh. They use a brick type oven which produces the best product.

The salad bar was very clean, well stocked, and had a lot of nice choices. I was impressed.

They serve Pepsi products with 10 different selections of drinks. Unfortunately, they do not offer fresh brewed iced tea. This is disappointing because fresh brewed iced tea is much better than the stuff that comes out of the fountain. I strongly urge them to offer the fresh brewed stuff. It probably costs less than $1 to brew a gallon of iced tea.

The restaurant was very clean and the girl working the counter was friendly and respectful.
