Close your eyes. Picture a Teryaki Chicken Sandwich. Open them. Is this what you pictured? It's not like any Teriyaki Chicken Sandwich I've ever seen. If I just showed you this photo and asked you to name this sandwich... Bet it wouldn't have Teriyaki in the name. I thought maybe she had misheard me and just heard Chicken Sandwich, so we sat in the drive thru line again (they only have the drive thru open) and said hey sorry, I think you gave us the wrong sandwich. This lady (very rudely) said no, this is exactly what you ordered. But there's no Teriyaki sauce on it, I replied. She said "It's very light". I said, okay can I have a side of Teriyaki sauce then? She said " We don't have any Teriyaki sauce". I'M SORRY, what? You don't have any Teriyaki sauce? But you're trying to gaslight me into thinking this plain old bland chicken sandwich that I already took I bite into just to make sure there was no Teryaki sauce on it, has Teriyaki sauce? She said she could give me the Chinese Chicken sauce they use for their Chinese Chicken salad. I said alright (I'd take anything at that point) then she said she ought to have charged me a dollar for the sauce but she'll just give it to us for free.... Gee thanks. It tasted horrible btw.

Saw this place across the street from Starbucks while getting my coffee. Was kinda sick of pumpkin scones (I know, I know, how does that even happen) and wanted to try something new. Holy cannoli was that a good decision. The breakfast sandwich has garlic mayo on a croissant bun thing and it was so heavy I couldn't believe it. Way too much sandwich for one person. The egg was moist, sausage wasn't anything spectacular, croissant was buttery and soft, and the overall sandwich was way better than Starbucks. I'm in love. The lemon bar is good too. Everything feels very homemade, drive thru went quickly, staff was friendly. Highly recommend.

Love a good drive thru. The window clerk was friendly and made the experience with knowledge of the menu. They do have vegan items and almond milk.

We have been going to this LaBou for 15+ years and just recently experienced the most horrible customer service. A woman taking payment and handing us our food via the drive through this past Sunday around 1:05PM was beyond disrespectful. She was wearing a light blue short sleeve top and had the worst, most rude attitude I have ever experienced in the service industry. We ordered two simple salads with no extra anything and she acted as if we asked for a custom order. She was chatting with her colleagues when we drove up to the window, laughing, smiling, etcetera and as soon as she turned to us her facial expression turned to anger immediately. Her entire expression changed. It was extremely odd. she took my mom’s card rudely and just said “$25”, when my mom said thank you she didn’t even respond with any words whatsoever. I looked at her directly to try and figure out what her deal was and she just stared me down while we drove away. Very weird interaction and horrible experience. The owners of this LaBou need to do a serious revamp with respect to customer service if they want to stick around. Nugget market is opening up soon and will completely outshine...

Not the best review coming...

I had been in a different coffee shop drive through when I looked over and saw the La Bou drive through nearly empty. So the next time I was is that area of town, I decided to go over to La Bou instead. I figured most people were at the mainstream coffee house. So I ordered my coffee. The lady taking my order must have been new. She wasn't really on point. No disrespect to her. Everyone needs a learning curve.

However, why was a newbie on drive through by herself during the morning rush? Does management know how to staff? On top of that... I ordered a large white mocha with a total of 4 shots of espresso. That doesn't seem out of the ordinary. I paid and was blown away that La Bou (or anyone for that matter) could out price other mainstream coffee shops. The one drink was near $9. Each extra shot was almost a dollar. Wow.

So in closing I'll say that the new girl was pleasant. The management needs to review staffing and pricing. That all said, I do not believe I'll ever return to La Bou.

The reason for the three stars is because of the newbie trying to handle the morning rush and I go...
