Falafel Corner — Restaurant in Rocklin

They have the usual Mediterranean food selections. The group of co workers I was with order the other menu items for lunch. One ordered the Gyro platter which looked like a little more items like rice, the meat and some other extras that my Gyro Wrap didn't have. My other co worker ordered a Burger and was ot ever good looking. It was even topped with an Egg (over medium) just as I like to have my Burger. In my work travels, thr work project happens to be very close home and surrounding good foodie spots in Roseville.

As for my review, here it goes. This place is a hole in the wall in a strip mall and if you are not looking on Maps and if you drive by without really looking for something, you'll miss it. This Falafel Corner is a good place recommend by my wife who frequents here often raves about the salads.

So my Gyro... meat, tender but yet grilled properly. The veggies, slightly crispy and fresh. The Bread, soft and they the Gyro was packaged perfect!!! It didn't fall apart like others I have had in the past.

All in all I will rate the food and presentation an unofficial 5, but Officially giving a 4 Stars rating due to the fact this establishment doesn't honor Military/Veterans with a discount sadly. I told my wife who says she was disappointed for that fact.

We ordered Falafel Corner for a small get-together and took advantage of their catering option. The food was terrific, and we had multiple guests inquiring where the food was from and how far ahead we had planned for this catering. The truth is, I spoke to the owner the day of the catering, this is a family-owned business that cares about its product and its guests, received the food on time, and the serving sizes were more than even advertised on their site. We had plenty of leftovers, and the food was seasoned to perfection. They listened to our requests and offered us the sauce on the side to avoid food from being soggy and allowing us to re-heat if needed. Very disappointing. I have been coming here for a few years and it has always been great. Not this time. I ordered a combo plate and received barely any meat. That was never an issue before. Plus the meat looks like it is from yesterday and they tried to heat it back up. It’s crispy and dry- so the amount of meat I got to actually eat was no more than a small handful. $18.99 for that?? Also beware- I ordered the side of falafel- picture shows 4 which you get if you order in the store but if you order online- you only get 3??!!!! Excuse me?? Again that used to never be an issue. I would get 4 no matter how I ordered. It’s a shame to say I won’t be back. They WERE really good. Super nice staff though. They are always super nice...
