Homemade Horchata is made with 100% all natural pure cane sugar. I love horchata! It should be creamy, slightly sweet, and have cinnamon notes. This version hit all of my expectations and even got a refill for the road. Rating: 5/5 Orange Bang is one of my childhood favorite drinks. They have it constantly churning in one of those old-style drink mixers. You know what I’m talking about, it kind of looks like a water fountain inside a rectangular clear tank. My brother and I would get this drink after school at the AM/PM mini mart. It tastes like a 50/50 bar in liquid form. Chile Verde Pork Dinner is marinated chile verde pork served with rice, beans, and flour or corn tortillas. The pork was tender and the chile verde complemented the pork without being overly spicy. I am very picky about Spanish rice. Most restaurants do not flavor it correctly or at all so I end up getting double frijoles. I have to say that Miguel’s Jr.’s version is very tasty. The refried beans were rich and creamy. The longhorn cheese added nice gooey texture and flavor. Rating: 4.9/5 Machaca Breakfast Plate served with Spanish rice, refried beans, and tortillas. The machaca had a good beef flavor and tender. It worked well with the eggs, tomatoes, and onions. It reminded me of a breakfast scramble. Rating: 5/5 Taco Salad is made with refried beans, lettuce, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, homemade creamy guacamole, house dressing, and choice of meat on top of crisp tortilla chips. This salad was fresh, tasty, and striking with vibrant colors. The carne asada was perfectly cooked to a medium rare. There was so much flavor going on from the marinated carne asada to the cheese and creamy guacamole, the dressing was not necessary. Rating: 5/5

Today my beautiful wife and I visited Miguel's Jr. in Redlands, CA. We ordered the shredded tacos with rice and beans plate and a couple of tacos and other items on the side. To drink we ordered lemonade and horchata. For a fast food restaurant, the food and service were average or above. I would recommend that in the near future, the restaurant offer their meals with low sodium. Because their food and service were acceptable, I will focus on the cleanliness of the men's restroom, which I used. Out of five stars, I would give it 4. Everything was in order and adequately stocked. However, of the two faucets, the water ran too slowly on one. The facilities were clean but ventilation could have been better and smelling fresh.

Looking for meat-free options for Lent or just anytime? Miguel’s Jr recently announced the addition of meatless menu items for Lent, including Soyrizo Tacos, Soyrizo Quesadillas, Soyrizo Breakfast Burritos, along with long-time fan favorite Relleno Burritos. The new meatless options are made with Soyrizo, a 100% plant-based non-GMO meat alternative that has the spicy flavor and texture of traditional chorizo sausage. Whether you’re looking to try something new or observing Lent, visit any Miguel’s Jr. location in the Inland Empire to experience the highest quality Mexican cuisine that’s always made fresh to order. My Eli loved the nachos the best, and my favorite was the Soyrizo Soft Taco! 🌮

Update: Since this last visit, the company has contacted me to apologize, called the store and spoke with the manager and employees, offered me an amends for this whole situation and I could not be more in awe from it. I have written my share of bad reviews, but never have I had a company go to these lengths to make it right. This location probably was just having a bad evening, but this company in general will forever have customers for life. Thank you to all those that spoke with me and genuinely heard what I had to say!!

I absolutely love their food, and up until today I never had a problem with ordering. Even with ordering 7 burritos and all of them being special orders. Today was a very different experience, while I was ordering their system went down as I was giving them my last item. I get that it happens and its not something that the restaurant can control, but finally when the system came back on the order was all wrong. In trying to correct everything it took multiple attempts and after just about 20 mins I finally get to the window. My order was still wrong! I corrected it yet again, but still must not have been heard because a burrito was added that I never wanted when I finally got my receipt. The guy proceeded to argue with me about it, and with all the people gathered behind me I said just forget it! Just add the one I originally ordered. I finally get home to find that my order is STILL wrong! When I call the restaurant no one answers the phone. I know they are open for another 2 hours, the recording said so. I try again, no answer. I try yet again and finally get someone, I ask to speak to a manager and when I tell her all I went through she had nothing but a snarky attitude and tries to get me off the phone as fast as possible. I have never had such bad customer service...

Well, first time ordering online, I got a text this morning .. burritos for $1.99!! We really love Miguels Jr! But this new experience wasn’t so great. I ordered online, my sister went to the Miguels Jr. She got there, she called because I got an email and said somebody will bring the food to her car. (and there is a sign in the parking lot as well explaining that) The employee said she had to go inside, just that. My sister didn't even get a chance to ask why or talk. Then the employee just hung up, just hung up. My sister went through quite trouble. First off, she had 3 little girls. That is already hard. So she got off and got the food and drinks. I got 3 X-Large drinks, they were all inside the same cup holder. My sister got home and she got the drinks, the cup holder broke. Not so great. $10 for the drinks and that happens, so sad. Then we got the burritos inside, they were not marked if they had cheese or not. Took a while, but did it. The food was good, as always. But what happened was kind of disappointing. Again, my sister called so she can get the food delivered to her. There was a sign outside that said that, and I got an email. She called, the employee hung up. Then the cup holder broke. I called the Miguels Jr, a manger answered. Super nice, we figured it out. She apologized a couple times. And said she would see who answered my sister. Her name was Blanca. Overall, it was kind of crazy to get the food. Will eat at this place again, but maybe just not ordering online. I understand today is a busy day, but its upsetting. I don’t think its fair to treat customers like this. Again not mad, just...
