Had my sons birthday party there on the 4th of July. I called the week prior to reserve tables but they couldn't take any reservations on a holiday instead I was told that they didn't expect it to be too busy and if I came early I could save some tables. So that's what we did. I got there early and the rooms both said reserved. I went in anyway and an employee asked if I made a reservation for the room. I told her no that I was told that we couldn't make any reservations on a holiday but that we were expecting around 40+ people. She said ok and allowed us to use the large room. We had 2 tablecloths and a decorative centerpiece for his cake table. The manager came in and told us we couldn't decorate anything because we didn't make a reservation. I explained to her that we tried to make a reservation but were told we couldn't due to the holiday. There was no one else in the entire restaurant. Literally no one. It was my son's birthday, the decorations were 4th of July themed and it was the 4th of July. There were no balloons or party bags just a cake table setup of 2 tablecloths and a decorative piñata for the table. She just said sorry you can't have it in here so she made us put all of it in our car. It was very petty and I wanted to leave and take our business elsewhere but my son wanted Rustys so we stayed. The manager was rude to some of my party guests, I was told she was ignoring them at the register and walking away without a word after they said thank you at the end of the transaction. Even after being pretty much the only customers they had inside the restaurant the entire time they never spoke to us. It was as if we were inconveniencing them by being there. This new "team" of employees has very poor customer service. After 17 years of birthday parties at this location I will not be giving this place any more of...
Read moreGreat food always. This restaurant has always given us great service. Staff always respectful and helpful. Manager Pam is awesome and cares about the customers thoughts. Only one problem....the call center. Phone number goes to a call center, not directly to the restaurant. Called in order for delivery and the person answering refused to take order due to his information saying that they don't deliver to Pioneer Pines Mobile Home Park. Their drivers are in here all the time. As we were leaving park, one of their drivers pulled in and delivered. We took pics and showed them to Manager Pam. We told her the address and she said that of course we deliver there! It is their biggest delivery area! She wanted us to stay and get our order. We turned her down and she gave us a gift card when we were ready to come back. I only ordered for delivery because I can not drive and my husband was at work. Normally we go in and order. In fact , My husband has been visiting that restaurant since he was a kid. I have been visiting for 16 years. Our teenage son all his life. I don't know how others are getting their deliveries. Unless, someone at call center knows better that the guy I talked to. Even the manager of call center said that they deliver to my area. It's not the first pizza parlor or call center that told me they don't deliver in my area and their cars are in and out of here all the time. Completely recommend visiting restaurant. Food and staff are worth it. Don't bother calling for delivery till call center is either fixed or call center is done away...
Read moreI have lived on the ES many years but for some reason I've never dined in the Niles location but instead go to the Auburn location which I absolutely love and go often. Today I thought I'd try the Niles location because it's closer to where I live anyway and wanted to give it a shot. I walked in to check out the atmosphere and see if it feels good enough to eat and chill. It took a long time to for the lady to take my order. Her customer service was not good at all. I felt judged right off the bat. Our food was really good but I have always loved Rusty's food. I ordered a drink for myself but my kids dont like soda and wanted water. We were told they didn't provide water cups because they have had problems in the past with people stealing soda. I totally get that however. I like to drink water while I'm eating and soda is just to taste it not to quench my thirst. My friend had her water cup from home and the lady came up to her with an attitude saying they don't allow outside cups. I told her that we are pay customers and should be allowed to drink water while eating our $40+ meal. She kept arguing with me and so we left because my kids were extremely thirsty. Looks like we will never go back to that location. Auburn will continue to be our favorite and allows us complementary water with the best Customer service...
