Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Citrus Heights

okay don't get me wrong I really fricking LOVE POPEYES especially the chicken sandwiches but This is the absolute worst location in history of Popeyes. The crew is almost entirely made up of rude teenagers who regularly shut down the lobby multiple hours early which prevents a lot of their customer base from actually being able to order because a lot of the people walk their from their homes nearby or homeless and don't have cars so short of paying for a Lyft or Uber strictly just to take you through the drive-through you are out of luck in ordering. When I was there just now the teenage shift manager claimed that she was the only one there and that she had to keep the lobby closed for her safety yet she has her boyfriend sitting in the lobby eating as she is saying this to me in a extremely condescending tone. But the real kicker about this location is that starting around 9pm when a car pulls up to the ordering station for the drive thru it starts playing an automated message saying that there are currently closed. But they quickly come over the speaker and say that they are open but for cash payments only and a very limited menu. My wife who used to work fast food says the only reason to do that would be to make the orders without actually putting them in the system taking cash payment and keeping the cash for themselves. Oh and this only happens when the regular aged manager in her late thirties is not there. Because foreclosing purposes it doesn't make sense to take cash payments but not card payment seeing that the only payments to really affect your drawer there going to be the cash payments and that's what keeps you there longer car payments are handled by the system so that's not an issue for the...

When I pulled into the drive through I waited about a minute or so and no one said anything on the speaker therefore I said hello and still no response. I pulled around and seen 2 other vehicles at the drive through window so I waited to pull up to the window and asked the lady if they’re still open? She said “yes we are open” so then I pulled around again to the drive through speaker where I was greeted when I pulled up. I ordered my food along with a sweet tea. When I was givien my sweet tea it was unsweetened so I asked the team member if they can give me a seeet tea where she stayed she did but the tea didn’t have much sweetener I just kept my tea. She gave me my order and said that was everything. I drove off and my daughter noticed her chicken sandwiches were not in the bad and so I pulled over and doubled checked and sure enough my 2 spicy chicken sandwiches were not in the bag. I then turned all the way around and drove back to the restaurant. I parked this time and go off my car to go inside. The lobby was locked but there was 2 other customers in the lobby sitting down eating. I then got back in my car and drove to the window to let them know my chicken sandwiches were missing. She told me to go ahead and pull to the window. When I pulled up I asked her for corporates number she stated it was on the receipt. I told her she did not hand me a receipt. She then called her manager and her manager got my receipt and wrote corporates number on there. By the time I even got home my entire food was cold and my drinks weren’t even correct. Horrible experience and will not be returning to this...

The drive-through attendant who was on duty at 2:10 PM, Sat., May 23rd, got into a loud verbal altercation with us about food they did not give us that we paid for. I don't understand why they have the most mentally incompetent person work the window and fight with customers.

Continually kept saying "Hi, can I take your order?" after acknowledging that we needed a second to order.

After making our order they did not give us a receipt, we went home, and they forgot all of the sides. So we returned to the store, ordered 2 Large Mac&Cheeses, and 2 Large Mashed Potatoes because we did not get our order.

After having her repeat the order to be sure we would receive all of our food, she said that it was a single mashed potato and a single mac and cheese. We told her no, it was two of each, and she said that yes, it was two of each.

After receiving and paying for the food, we checked it in the window and did not receive all of our food. When we told them that we just ordered it and they just told us that we did, they said no, and that if we wanted another one we would be charged for it. We explained that we didn't get our sides from last time and just wanted to get our sides so that we could leave and go home to eat. She fought with us saying that we didn't order it, showed us the receipt that was missing the food we had just told her we ordered, and refused to give us our side that we had already paid for originally.

No one should ever eat at this location. The employees are terrible and it's no wonder that they only can only work...
