My buddy and I make the special trip from Santa Rosa just for the food every couple of weeks. I get the Giant burger and he gets the double. These burgers are hands down the best burger around and worth the drive. The burgers are always made fresh with fresh Angus beef and always cooked to order as we have them made by a young lady named Amber as she does the best cooking there. When she cooks you can actually see the moisture in the meat and never over or under cooked and never dried out. The veggies on top are fresh and lettuce crispy and onions crisp as well and the tomatoes are never mushy. The meat is cooked on a charbroiler so you get that great fresh BBQ flavor. The buns are always fresh and do not fall apart and the cheese if added is melted perfectly. The burger prices are very fair and a great deal compared to any other fast food or restaurants. The onion rings are expensive but quite good as we split the large order. The French fries are very tasty better than McDonalds and for the money you get a ton of fries and we split a small order and are cooked fresh and I get mine piping hot as I like em scalding. Only one time we could taste that the oil was old but only the one time. These are freshly cut fries not frozen. Here is the deal. Try them once and you will go back again and again. I have eaten at the other supposed best places in Sant Rosa and this truly is the best tasting burger around. You get fast service. The only thing I do not like is being hit up for a tip. I recommend you have Amber cook your food and don't be afraid to ask for her. The business is basically like a 1950s joint and has tons of inside sitting but we ours in the truck in the parking lot so everything is hot off the charbroiler or the deep fryer. They have all the condiments and sauces you like as well. The store next door owned by the same people...

My hopes were very high for this place because of the good reviews......well boy was I wrong. I'm not very sure how this place has such good reviews because what I experienced was the opposite. For starters is the pricing. for a regular bacon and cheese burger i paid $12, and it was a normal size burger it wasnt even big, like small to be honest. Second is the fries, for a small fries its $7, and they say its for 2 people which it is a lot of fries but you have no other option if you are eating alone, so you're pretty much paying $7 to finish half the bag, that is if you even get to it because the fries were not good at all. And third is the milkshake, for a small milkshake its also $7..... and boy is it not worth it. So now onto the taste part, the burger was not special, i got the bbq bacon and cheeseburger and they just drenched the burger in bbq sauce so all you taste is bbq sauce and nothing else. The fries were dry, i got the garlic fries and they were hard, some pieces were soft but majority were dry and just not good. And last but not least the milkshake, i got an oreo milkshake and it wasnt even thick, it was watery and just tasted like milk, barely any oreo taste, probably the worst shakes ive tried. Overall it was very dissapointing, i cam during lunch so everything should be fresh right? Overall a 4/10 experience. Not worth it you can get a better experience...

Poor excuse for a burger joint stole my money and didn’t give me any food. And I tipped for this experience when I ordered!

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Ordered a burger and fries that cost over $20. When I ordered, I was told it would be about 25-30 minutes. After an hour, still no food. Went to window to ask where my order was, and they didn’t have it. They asked me three times what I ordered. Instead of making my order quickly, which is what I would assume most restaurants would do for a single burger and some fries, an employee accused me of trying to get a free burger. Another employees checked the system, saw my order, and then confirmed I ordered an hour ago. I said yeah, that’s what I told you, I ordered an hour ago and didn’t get my burger. I did get a refill on my fountain drink, and I can say the carbonation and service for my self-serve drink was outstanding.

I guess they thought I ordered, got my burger, ate it, then went to the window to try to get a free burger? Because I have time to run this kind of burger scam? Please.

Horrible service. Terrible attitude. The best/worst part is I left without getting any food because they refused to give me my order and I didn’t want to argue with teenagers anymore. Will never go here again and would recommend you avoid this poor excuse for a...

Old school burger joint that you’d likely see around the time of poodle skirts and ducktail haircuts. Heck, they probably were around back then too! This place is basically an institution for Sebastopol and harkens back to the time you’d be blasting Elvis Presley, the Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly whilst cruising the strip. Classic beer burgers and grilled chicken sandwiches, fish n chips, fries, onion rings, and milkshakes. No avant-garde type offerings, just the classics. They WILL tell you when you order a large fries that it’ll feed 6 people. They are NOT kidding, the bag is massive. Good classic burger joint food. So, fire up that jalopy, grease up that flattop boogie…or put on that poodle skirt and borrow your squeeze’s letterman sweater, and why not give the place a try. Just remember about the large order of fries!

Better than average. Burger was made with fresh good quality ingredients. But if you’re really hungry don’t try settling for the single, go double. It was pretty expensive though. $14 for a single with cheese, no drink. Than they ask you for a tip lol. They gave me enough fries in a single regular order for probably 4-5 people. I’m not exaggerating. A FULL bag of fries. Just unnecessary. Sharing btwn others would work but it’d be nice to not pay so much for food that’s wasted. Offer a small for a couple bucks less (they were $4.50, sold a la carte. I’d go back, just skip the fries or bring my kids.
