Hole in the Wall — Restaurant in Sebastopol

On January 4th we visited this place for breakfast. We have been here before and it was good in the past. I needed to use the restroom; it was absolutely filthy - disgusting. See photos. The high chairs and booster seats we're right outside the bathroom door sitting on a very dirty floor. Very unsanitary for children that may use them in the future. There was a box of biscuits and bread on the floor 12in outside the bathroom door. Totally gross . Then I noticed boxes of food stacked haphazardly in a store room with brooms and mops and debris surrounding the open boxes of food. Unhealthy. Upon reaching the dining room I noticed dirty napkins, food debris and general waste on the floors under the tables and on the entry carpet. The countertops were dirty and really needed to be wiped clean. I told my friend there was no way I was going to eat here. When trying out a new restaurant for breakfast, there's only 2 dishes you need to try that will tell you everything you need to know about the freshness and quality of their food, and that is either corned beef hash or biscuits and gravy. Recently at a couple of restaurants in a very nice nor-Cal coastal tourist town, I found myself ordering biscuits and gravy, and eventually looking up saying, "it's ok, but it's not like Hole in the Wall's.." I compare all bisc/gravy to Hole in the Wall's at this point. I don't like gravy that is thick and starchy, or like mashed potato consistency. I live in Arkansas. I used Door Dash to deliver a literal buffet for breakfast to my Mom for her birthday. Hole in the Wall went to much trouble to label each item and ingredients and my Mom LOVED it ALL! She said it was the best birthday breakfast EVER!! As someone who has traveled all over the world, Mom is no slouch on food opinion, and she was incredibly impressed that everything was made from scratch, and was very fresh, and "absolutely delicious!" She raved on and on about Hole in the Wall and was shocked to learn that this fabulous food came from a restaurant they have passed many times in the past. Mom does not drive anymore, and this was a great way to do something different for her and spoil her with a fabulous breakfast buffet feast!...
