Sno White Drive-In — Restaurant in California

I’ve lived here for too long not to have been here before. I love ice cream and was craving a summer cone. I usually go to my local health food store and grab a Straus pint, but I didn’t want to brave the traffic on that side of Soquel and was passing by Sno White drive-in and decided to pull in. I didn’t know what to expect- if this would be shoddy quality or gross like the downtown fosters freeze. The line went very fast and up at the window I whispered my question to the cashier…. “I’m sorry to ask this, but is your ice cream real? Or is it like the fake boardwalk ice cream made from whey?” (In case you didn’t know- boardwalk ice cream is made from a tub of powder.) The cashier didn’t laugh nor did he act insulted, he was so kind and explained everything that’s in their ice cream- and it’s real! I ordered a small mixed cone and it’s honestly the best soft serve cone I’ve ever had! And I’m an ice cream expert! I was so impressed with the service, the quickness of ordering and receiving my order, and how busy it was. I will next try out something to eat as all the food coming out looked good too! Very bad place to eat. I was there over Easter and I got sick.. It is so bad I do not even know where to begin. My first time there and it was for sure my last.. It must be under different management or their ethics have went way down. My fries were very old and reheated in the fryer, not to mention just thrown into the bag so that they all fell out and mixed up with the ketchup packets, who knows where all those have been. My bag was covered in grease, and then I compared my soda cup to a shot glass, I mean seriously for nearly $10.00 for a burger, fry, and drink I would expect more than child size servings. My burger was under cooked and processed, not to mention about 1/4 of an inch thick, with that being said it should have at least been cooked well enough, but it was not.. my bun was surprisingly soggy, with what I do not know, I did not eat my whole meal , but I did eat enough that I was sick for about 24 hours with vomiting, and seriously I am wondering if the Diarrhea is ever going to end..
