Taco Bell — Restaurant in California

Normally I would not have anything negative to say about this place. It’s been my go to Taco Bell for over a decade and, other than being FAST (& I mean FAST at the drive thru), the food is fantastic & they seem to never screw up your orders or customizations.

So now, why the 4 stars instead of 5?

Well 2 nights ago SOMEONE working there at around 1am screwed up in a way that was not deliberate, but very VERY negligent.

I am a vegetarian & my friend isn’t. He got a cantina chicken quesadilla and I got the same thing WITHOUT any chicken (so, you know, just cheese). 🤔

Well. What happens when we get back with the food? My friend gives me “mine” because it is labeled with “CHZ”. (Cheese). The other one is not labeled. So, obviously that is assumed to be mine.

NOPE.

They ACTUALLY wrote CHZ on the one with CHICKEN! Like, come on!

So because of that employee’s negligence I ended up eating chicken (not a LOT, THANK GOODNESS!)- but it SHOULDN’T HAVE HAPPENED!

We shouldn’t have to literally open up every food item to “make SURE” the writing of the employee is ACTUALLY correct. We should be able to TRUST the...

I will start with customer view. Yuck. The front of house is a reflection of the back of house. Since I waited forever for an order, I didn't consume, I had time to enjoy the view. Attached are pics of the filthy lobby. Bend over and pick up the trash or at least sweep it up. A hot soapy mop will also help. What was most entertaining to me was the ss 1/8 lid on the floor that approx was walked by, over and sidestepped about 33 times as I sat there. I started counting after I took the lobby pics so I could be off by 3 to 5 employees. The team of at least 9 crewmembers were having a good time. When I was given my order I let the young lady know that there was a trip n fall hazard and approx how many people I watched and video stepping over it. I was just snapping pics at first but decided to change to video. Well good luck with safety and getting a cleaning...

For more than 2 years this Murrieta location has been my favorite Taco Bell location, but recently everything is changed. I never order food in the store (even before covid) and I always order on the Taco Bell app. Since last month I have ordered a few times from this location. First time, one of the items I ordered was missing, the second time I asked to remove beef from my nachos but when I arrived home there was beef on my nachos, and the third time I ordered a cheesy bean and rice burrito but I received a beef burrito instead. I am vegetarian and I don't eat meat, that is why I always ordered items that do not include meat. So, the beef burrito went straight to the trash can. I don't like to waste food and money and I am really sad that my favorite Taco Bell location is loosing...
