Upon arrival, I immediately felt like the restaurant was very charming in it's rustic-chic aesthetic and antique decor. There were several items featured on the menu that sounded delicious, and overall seemed like reasonable pricing. Unfortunately, the experience was something I would describe as: uncomfortable, to put it mildly. We had a very bad experience with a waitress by the name of Stephanie. It began when we ordered our drinks. Being 23, I get asked to show my ID from time to time. Instinctually, I pull out my ID and place it on the table, at which point, she looks at me, laughs, and says, "that won't be necessary" in an extremely condescending tone. My friends and I just kinda stared at each other awkwardly for a second, until she walked away. After she brought our bread, we noticed we didn't have a knife to spread the butter or any napkins for our drinks. After finally catching her attention, she comes over to the table. As I begin to ask for a knife and some napkins, she cuts me off, saying "you seem a bit needy." Slightly taken aback, I quickly apologized and asked if I could please have some napkins and a butter knife. She rolled her eyes and said, "i guess." After several other unpleasant interactions, we were beginning to feel too awkward to bear it, anymore. We assumed it was some sort of weird attempt at humor but, it came across as incredibly rude. At this point, we asked to pay for our...

We were excited to try The Eproson House for the first time, but unfortunately the experience fell short of expectations. We ordered the 10oz Flank steak, and it took quite a long time to come out. When it finally arrived, it was cold. After sending it back, the replacement still came out only lukewarm. The steak itself lacked seasoning or flavor, and the sides that came with it weren’t very enjoyable either. We ended up relying on A1 sauce just to make it decent.
On the positive side, the bread with oil and vinegar was outstanding, and the drinks were excellent — definitely the highlight of the evening. Our waitress was kind and tried to make up for the experience by not charging us for the drinks, which we really appreciated. That gesture stood out even though the food itself was disappointing.
Unfortunately, overall service seemed overwhelmed for a Thursday night; we even overheard other diners commenting on how long it was taking to get their food.
While we appreciated the great drinks and thoughtful service from our waitress, the main dishes left us underwhelmed, and we’re not sure we’d return...
Read moreAfter reading all the recent bad reviews, my husband and I still decided to try this place since there aren’t too many options in the area. Even with pretty low expectations, this place is appalling bad. Really unenthusiastic service, like no “hello, how are you?” Basically just “are you ready?” We were hungry, so we’re grateful to get our food pretty quickly, but it was definitely not good. We ordered prime rib and flank steak, both medium rare. Both were under seasoned & tough. Some components were ok, both nothing was good like you’d expect on a $40 dinner. The rice was the most bizarre thing I’ve probably been served in a restaurant. It looked like rice a roni and tasted like turmeric and tomato, but had no salt. I’m not sure what’s going on with this place 😂. The only positive was good cocktails and we managed to get another round and enough of a buzz going to laugh off the $160 we spent for 2 people. Props to the 2 lady bartenders working last night. They seem to be the only employees who know what they’re doing and have any personality. If I ever find myself here again, I’d visit the bar, but would definitely never...
