I am posting this to first and foremost RECOGNIZE this amazing family-owned business and their dedication to their customers. Today, April 28th, 2021 is a tough day for this family. Early this morning, the owner of The Sandwhich Spot (East Elk Grove) gained his wings after a long fight with a rare lung disease. To the Sandwich Spot family, we send our love and condolences as you mourn the loss of a husband, father, and grandfather.

If you were/are a frequent customer of this shop then you most likely know that this beautiful, loving and hard-working family values every single one of their customers!

As a loyal customer and human being, I hope that everyone would be respectful and mindful of any store hour changes because this is real life! Yes business is business, but family is everything! Started off with the #12. The Madden

on GLUTEN FREE BREAD — actually so good! Gluten free bread can be hit or miss but they’ve got the good stuff. They give you 2 separate sandwiches with it because the slices are smaller. Meats were warm, bread toasted and delicious!

2nd sandwhich was #25 The Bill Walsh

On sourdough. Classic pesto chicken sub. Very good! 👍🏼

The vibe here is so inviting. Feels like family. Islander vibes and great music 🎶 feels like I was on the islands 🤍 I’ll be back soon! They take care of you here. A must in Elk Grove for sandwiches!

Update! Went and tried a few more sandwiches & they were incredible so I wanted to mention them!

The Maximus #27 was incredible! Pastrami was so delicious. On sourdough roll was my favorite.

The Rock #13 was yummy. Nice lighter sandwhich. I enjoy a good BLT and this brought it! Triple decker on sliced sourdough....
