TOGO'S Sandwiches — Restaurant in California

5/10/23 - I ordered a pastrami sandwich and my wife ordered the pick 2. We’ve eaten hear in the past but it’s probably been a good year since our last visit and it wasn’t like it is now. The pastrami sandwich had very little meat in it but a lot of the produce. From past experience it’s usually the other way around. I was also taking bites of dry meat so it had to of been sitting out or not covered. The young lady behind the counter was nice but we waited about about 15 to 20 minutes before we got our food even though it was just us and an old older gentleman in the restaurant. I was patient but my wife was growing more and more frustrated with how long it was taking which I don’t blame her because two people came in about five minutes after we ordered and they ended up getting their sandwiches before us. The older lady behind the counter wiped her nose while making sandwiches although she was wearing gloves I don’t think it matters at that point. Monday, May 16th. 2022. Dropped in to try Togo's Meat Ball Sandwich. I've tried a competitor's Meat Ball Sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised with Togo's Meat Ball 9 " sandwich. Togo,'s used better bread, the meatballs had a Michelin Restaurant taste, just perfect. The sandwich was more expensive than the competitor's product. What got us started off right was Amy behind the counter, taking our order. We could tell that Amy liked her job, knew the menu and could read Togo customers like a children's board book. We ate inside the restaurant. We felt welcomed and comfortable the entire time. It probably took me a good half hour to finish the sandwich. Good experience all around Pastrami on sourdough and a Turkey avocado, Turkey cranberry half and half. Togo's sandwiches represent high quality ingredients and presentation for $10.00 per sandwich. Great value. The Carmichael/Manzanita location rocks. Dr. Fauci would find something not to like about...

Yesterday while out and about I made a pits stop at my local Radio Shack store. The store is very convenient as far as store location, but as far as the products this store carry's, not so convenient! This store has really cut back in it's audio department, so much so, that the ability to choose between different "as like" products has been seriously lessened. I understand that computers and smart phones are all the rave now a days, but removing a good chunk of the stores audio/video department for these phones and computers, to me is a waste!
