Winchell's Donut House — Restaurant in California

Don't come to this location! I love winchells, but I won't come to this one again. The employees are like chickens with their heads cut off, not knowing what to do when they get busy. They just take orders and no one makes the food until they are so backed up. Then people start complaining they are taking too long. At one point, they were just all standing in from the coffee machine talking about a customer, which I found so rude. Just because they speak in Spanish doesn't mean the customer doesn't understand because I did! Aside from the bad service, they took 1 HOUR to get to our food. One of our sandwiches was incorrectly made, but we didn't even bother to say anything because who knows long it would have taken them to make a new one. Also, by the time they started making our food, they sold out of one burrito we ordered. SO we had to get something else. Got a chorizo burrito as a replacement but was sooo greasy! And the cherry is on top! Their soda fountain machine was not working. We couldn't even get...

Update: I was here six months ago and that review is below. Update as of 12/2/21: The place seems to be under new management. I never wait anymore. Someone is always there ready to serve. The ladies are super nice and give you info on the donuts. The donuts are FRESH and SOFT. I am not lying! Plus, they have some "Mexican bread" as well (super good). I could not ask for better management. I have been back over and over and the service continues to be great and the donuts even better 👍👍❤

I never ever write reviews but Horrible service today I have been there and always had good experience , they have some young ppl working there that is very apparent dont know what they are doing and wow, I ordered a ranchero bagel aside that it took forever to get it (note: no other ppl waiting just me) and they gave it to me soggy, paper stuck to the bread and bag fell apart of how soggy it was.
