I ordered a taco, a burrito, and a quesadilla because I lack self-control and believe in living without regrets. What happened next can only be described as a flavor explosion so powerful, I briefly forgot my own name. THE TACO: Emotionally supportive. If this taco were a person, it would be my therapist, life coach, and emergency contact. THE BURRITO: It was the size of a newborn baby and twice as comforting. I’m pretty sure it whispered “you’re doing great” with every bite. THE QUESADILLA: Cheese? Perfect. Tortilla? Toasted like it just got back from vacation. If there were a quesadilla Olympics, this thing would take gold, silver, AND bronze. The staff? Absolute angels in aprons. One of them handed me extra napkins like they knew I was going to cry tears of joy. So yeah, 5 stars isn’t enough. This food truck deserves a Nobel Prize, a Netflix special, and its own holiday. If you don’t eat here, you’re living a lesser life. I would trust this truck to cater my wedding, deliver my eulogy, and raise my future children.

I cannot stress this enough: come here. You won’t be disappointed by the food, and the service is excellent too. The proprietor generously served me lengua after I didn’t see it on the menu, but asked for it anyway. I implore you to do the same. There are very few places to sit, but you won’t care if you have to stand while enjoying the best tacos and burritos that Calistoga has to offer.

In an area with really good taco trucks, El Taco Feliz really stands out. Try the shrimp tacos, you won’t be disappointed. One thing to pay attention to, there are plenty of folks lining up during lunchtime, so get there on the early side. Their service is fast though, so the wait is minimal. Or, call ahead and have it ready when you get there.

One of the best taco trucks we’ve tried! The Tacos al pastor, carne asada, chicken, and carnitas, were delicious. The shrimp cocktail, mango habanero salsa, and fresh guacamole were amazing! Service was super friendly and detailed—we felt truly welcomed. We came as a family of 7, including kids, and everyone loved it. Highly recommended if you want tasty Mexican food and great...
