I went to beefs in Callaway on yesterday evening with my family to eat. To which we sat down and ordered our drinks and my husband and son excused themselves to utilize the restroom. When the waitress returned she knocked an entire drink onto me and my 5 year old daughter. I was soaked, she was soaked my husband and my cellphones were drenched. Although i was quite irritated I remained composed. The waitress offered me napkins then a towel. I got up took my daughter to the restroom to dry off. Came back and moved to another table. The manager came out, apologized for her and offered her advice on how to properly pass a drink. A few minutes later the same waitress brings out mozzarella sticks and i said I didnt order these. She said they are from the manager for that drink thing. No apology or anything from her. So i said oh, ok? My husband and son are lactose intolerant so they didnt eat it but me and my daughter did. It would probably have been better if he had asked us what appetizer we would like on the house instead of throwing sticks at us like take that. But anyway we ordered our food, got it. My chicken wasnt fried hard as i requested but it was fine, i ate it without conplaining. Then we get our $52.00 bill. He actually billed us for everything, drinks and food. I thought wow. Im leaving and letting my husband handle it. My husband says hey dont you think you should have at least compt my wife and daughters meal since they had to sit here in wet clothes and eat dinner thanks to the waitress to which this manager/owner said no and took $3.00 off and felt that should suffice. I now have a dry cleaning bill for my top and pants as they are dryclean only and feel like i got treated like a nobody. In all fairness I have called the restaurant today only to find out that the owner was the person who I dealt with last night. So I realize now the reason she didnt apologize, the reason she shoved mozzarella sticks in my face without a smile or humbleness or apology, the reason why this happened period is because he made it all ok. Being that I am in charge of hiring vendors for our companies events. I clearly will not use this beefs and my family will not eat here again either. I will be taking them my dry cleaning bill on monday and if they dont compensate me for that i will go to sprint and have my phone replaced on them and if they dont compensate me for that I will promptly obtain an attorney to sue them for damages they caused. . It is my intent to be diligent because I felt they at the least could have ate the 11.99 and 2.49 drink costs after that experience to do the least. But as i washed dr.pepper from my daughters crotch last night I have become quite agitated. On a side note, the wattress that replaced the 1st waittress was excellent hence the 2 stars. I will probably go back and tip her Monday when I drop off my dry cleaning bill. Funny thing is I would have taken the appetizer and called it a wash had she not been crass when she delivered them and had he simply asked which one we wanted. It would have been.more cost effective and a more customer service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have always loved Beefs. However, we went last night for a birthday dinner and were very disappointed. There were only 2 waitresses. One was handling the bar, take outs, tables and anything else she could do. The other had a 12 top she was waiting on. Upon entering just about every single table was dirty and stayed that way for the duration of our time. It took about 15 minutes just to get a menu and order our sodas. Our appetizers were over cooked and took forever to get, the steak, chicken and fries were all cold by the time they arrived. The wait staff was friendly but were overwhelmed. There was ZERO presence of a manager on duty and being in management I wondered what happened to shifting to assist and overseeing the operations. Needless to say it took an hour and a half for 2 people to be served cold food. The waitress done her very best but couldn't keep up. The manager was said to be in the office sitting down or in the kitchen with the cooks. During our time the cooks kept coming out and watching the football game s on TV. There was a lack of leadership and teamwork. This in turn has cost this establishment several customers. On our way out the family of 8 got up and the mother said this is it, we have waited long enough and they left. I will never spend my hard earned...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is not terrible food wise but service is incredibly slow. I came in during one of the slowest hours. The restaurant was virtually empty with maybe 4 other occupied tables compared to 20 ish tables total. Was seated and given my drink. I ordered, and told them to run my food to me as they got it done, since I was hungry. It took 45 minutes for my appetizer to get out to me, and by the time I got my entree I had drank my whole drink. And I definitely wasnāt chugging it. Waitress tells me sheāll get me another drink. Takes a pretty long time to do it, I think I waited 10-15 minutes but I understood once she brought me my check. She then asked me if she wanted to close out with me or transfer me to another waiter because she was leaving soon. And I get it. When Iām scheduled to be off work? THAT is when I want to leave. But still I couldnāt help but be like⦠āreally?ā So I just let her transfer me to another waiter so she could go home. This other waitress took awhile to get to me. It looked like she literally clocked in and came straight to me, I kinda felt bad and just asked her for boxes. I donāt think Iāll be coming back. Iāve seen faster service in packed places like...
