Typically I have no problems ordering from this location but tonight was horrendous! We ordered delivery and at first everything was great, it took about 30 or so minutes for our food to arrive our house is hard to find and every time we put our address in it shows a place up the street (not their fault) we always just walk up the road to help the driver out like normal. Then I get home and one of my items is incorrect ( I asked for no onions in my pasta bread bowl and instead I received everything removed except chicken and bacon. so I call the place 9 minutes after my order was delivered. The person who answered was the person who actually delivered our food. He was nice when he answered and then I was polite and tried to explain to him what was wrong and he rudely interrupted me and said “let me get my manager” (he shouts back and forth with his manager about the situation) I don’t think she realized I could hear her but she rudely said I could just have a free one next order or it would take at least an hour to remake and deliver (it was a pasta bread bowl one item out of a 5 item order that was delivered within 30 minutes of placing the order online) I was still polite and didn’t say anything and said that I would wait the hour and a half because it’s all I’ve wanted for week. She was VERY obvious about how much she did not want to remake it and wanted me to take the free one but I have been craving this for a week now and I already paid for it and they messed it up.so they agree and tell me it’ll take an hour to be delivered. So I hang up and it’s 9:09pm, I sit and it wait. ALMOST 2 HOURS GO BY! 10:52 I call them back and THEY DIDNT EVEN PUT MY NEW ORDER IN! They told me it would be 30 minutes. They didn’t even apologize or anything! They just still Had the attitude like before. I hang up and I wait and after about 20 minutes they come. THE FOOD IS UNCOOKED!! The food is a little warm warm but the spinach is raw, the mushrooms basically room temperature but raw, the tomatoes were raw. It’s bad! Mind you, I never said a word and I was sweet and polite the whole time, but this is the worst experience I’ve ever had from dominoes pizza!! ☹️☹️👎👎 (BTW the Youngstown location is 100X better! Read moreI usually order from Hungry Howies a few traffic lights further down and "assumed" that Domino's did pretty much everything that Little Caesars and Hungey Howies right there in Callaway do. That was a big mistake. I pulled up to the drive thru window and attempted to order the desert cinnamon bites and told very quickly that I could not place an order at that drive up/thru window. That I would have to pull around, park, get up and come inside to order.
This meant driving a total of Mayne 50', getting out and getting 6 yr old out of her car seat, going inside where it was hot and placing the order. I was a bit aggravated, but did so. It took longer that we were told and my daughter was anxious to get our order as she had never had what I ordered. There were NO CARS in front or behind me as I pulled up to the drive up/thru window. There were no people ordering inside nor sitting inside waiting. So they weren't slammed.
BOTH Lil Caesars and Hungry Howies have also taken my order at their drive up/thru window. I pay and give them a. Order name and they tell me how long before it's ready. I then pull into the parking lot, sit there with my truck running and pumping the AC cold air out until time to pull around and pick up our pizza. No problems at all. Yet Domino's forces you to call it in eve when you are sitting there or physically walk inside to place the order. I would have called it in before I drove over, but I had just come from Walmart which is less than a block away. It would have taken longer to order over the phone than to just pull in and up to the window.
So needless to say I will NOT be ordering from that Domino's again. I guess they get too much business to take (1) item routine/generic menu item orders at their drive up window. And I wouldn't want to over load them again. So Hungry Howies and Lil Caesars it is in Callaway...
Read moreWorst Pizza ordering experience I've ever god damn had. Tried to order over the phone twice, put on hold for over 10 minutes each time without ever having anyone check back on the line. Finally said "F it" and ordered online just to get my order in. It took over an hour and a half on a god damn Tuesday night before they even started prepping my order. I had to call just to figure out what the hell was taking so long. They said it would be ready in 30 minutes and delivered. The pizza delivery guy, who I know, because I worked with him when I was a pizza delivery guy at a different pizza place, says he tried to deliver the order, but never actually called me to get a hold of me. I couldn't hear him if he was at the door and had no idea he was even there. The online order was marked as delivered even though it was not. I had to call again to find out what was going on with the delivery since I had no idea he had even "attempted" to deliver the first time. The second time he bangs on my Mother's bedroom window when she was sleeping. (she works nights) and woke her up, which incidentally was the ONLY reason I even knew he was there. This could have all been resolved easily if he had just called my phone to let me know he was there. HE NEVER EVEN CALLED. MAKE IT MANDATORY TO CALL A CUSTOMER IF YOU CAN'T REACH THEM AT THE DOOR. Some people wear headphones and cannot hear a doorbell or knock and have no idea when to expect a Pizza Delivery Person. Honestly I want my tip back and a freaking refund. This was the worst.
