This is, hands down, THEE BEST BAKERY we found on our "Yooper tour". Actually it is the best bakery we have found to date. We tend to sample bakeries, and coffee shops while on vacation hoping to find that special experience to make the day. So when we happen across an experience like Ramona's, it makes the searching worthwhile. Ramona's namesake comes from the proprietor's Grandmother. She taught her how to make the most delicious deserts and pastries. You can tell that in addition to teaching her how to combine the right ingredients, the grandmother also instilled the ability to combine the love of baking as the main ingredient in everything she makes. When we travel to copper harbor, we usually just drive right by Calumet, that will not happen again. Ramona's will now become a destination rather than an incidental stop for us.
