Red Jacket Brewing Co. — Restaurant in Calumet Township

Made reservations for my husband’s birthday, was seated right away at a reserved table. Greeted by our wait staff. She was excellent. Ordered the Brocetta (broiled feta) topping was tasty but the bread which wasn’t as crispy - as it needed to be the lettuce 🥬 as garnish was limp as what it would be if you stepped on it and then plated it:( ordered a few burgers - ordered medium but done well :( was supposed to have a mushroom sauce with the mushrooms and Swiss but didn’t show up so was pretty dry and overcooked. Very interesting place! Love the building. I wanted to learn more about it. Our waitress was super sweet and did a great job!

The low score is two reasons. We went because we wanted to try craft beer but contrary to the online menu there was only one beer, a pale, and it drank lile a sour shandy. It wasn't very good and they didn't even have other beers on the menu available. Next, the appetizer we got, the bruschetta, wasn't that. We had so much fun at the Red Jacket. We felt so welcome the entire time we were there. The staff was as polite as could be. Ema was our server and she was the best. Possibly the absolute best bruschetta that I have ever eaten. The chicken sandwich was tender and delicious. I tasted all of their brews and was impressed. I went with the pale ale and it was great.
