Taquería Jalisco — Restaurant in Calumet Township

It saddened me to write this. I have been going to this place since it opened me, and my whole family made this our go-to spot, but in recent years, it has been going downhill not cause of the food but the staff. The owner is a very excellent person, but the staff has gotten rude and nasty. Yesterday, I went in for a nacho, and the tables were filthy. I asked the young lady to clean it and she got a dirty rag and wiped the table. I was dining in when my order came out. I had a pop to go with it when I asked her for it, she replied its in the cooler.Get up and get it another customer can be seen cleaning the table herself and she was getting ready for her food. Then a coworker comes and started talking and just grabbing things on her day off. I know the owner don't know this. She took about 6 pops and didn't pay for nothing. The food is good but the staff makes it very uncomfortable and unprofessional for me. Note I been going here over 10 years but after yesterday I'll go elsewhere. I used to go here for their $1 chicken tacos until someone in 2021 stole from me. I checked my bank account the next day after purchasing food here and someone snatched nearly $300 from my bank account to purchase groceries from Jewels on Canal St the night prior and had them delivered. I had to go through the trouble of contacting the fraud department at my bank and the police department along with closing accounts and waiting days before the bank returned my money. That was the first time I used the card because it was a replacement for an expired card and I got hit with theft immediately after using. I will never go there again... Ever! The one star is for the good food and all the other years I’ve bought from here without issues but today takes the cake the young girl at the register was so rude saw me walk in first but she still took someone’s order before me when I was only picking up my order then she got upset after I asked for a refund after a misunderstanding didn’t try and accommodate me or anything but snatched all my food even after I paid for it when I had given her what I wanted refunded then when I asked for the food I dirtold me to wait like I didn’t wait when I paid so why am I waiting for food I paid for but she snatched back from across the counter with a attitude.
