ALDI — Local services in Calumet Township

Went in this past weekend. 5-16-2020. 20 minutes before closing and the security guard did not let me get a cart. She said it was because they were about to close. I had to carry all my things. I had my own bags so I used them to shop which became very heavy and difficult. She, the guard, then gets a cart and begins to shop. So while I am walking out, two new customers walk in with shopping carts, 2 minutes before they close. Since she was too busy shopping for herself she wasn’t there to tell them they were closing and the new rule that they are not allowed to get a shopping cart. When I go to my car the guard comes out to with her shopping cart to put her groceries in her car. I’m over here squishing my bread, balancing my bags on my shoulders while trying to reach for things and she’s walking around shopping comfortably with her cart while in the clock....

Customer services is horrible, their security they have in the store is horrible I am talking about Law Dog Security went in the store today with my oldest son to buy some ice cream and some burritos and was treated so horrible like was going to steal something pretty much categorizing us as thieves while at the same time their was old people and caucasian individuals in their stealing right in front of their eyes but the law dog security that was working today as March 6, 2024 had his focus on me and son for the wrong reasons and it made me and son feel very uncomfortable, and we demand an apology because we always shop their and spend allot ls of money with Aldi at this location and don't deserve to be treated in such a...

ALL their BREAD contains HYDROGENATED OIL (TRANS FAT).

I spoke with Corporate Customer Service about this several months ago, after having spoken with SEVERAL store managers asking them to bring it to Corporate attention, with 0 results, starting 2 years ago.

CS stated that this has to do with the manuacturer (really!). I suggested that now that I made them aware of this, they could act accordingly. You guessed it: NO CHANGE.
