Tommy's Place — Restaurant in Calumet Township

Let me 1st start by saying I’m a district manager at the company I work for so I know customer service is key!!! I go to this establishment every Wednesday after work a tonight was a complete nightmare. When I walked up to the door there was a lady security guard she was very mean and nasty and pulled all my personal items out of my purse, condoms, money, tampons etc she found some raw wrap papers an states you can’t bring these in I told her that they were only $3 dollars an that she can toss them in the garbage and she became mad by asking was my id checked which it was an also overly searching me she literally unsnapped my bra completely embarrassed me In front of other customers . Later on in the night as I was using the bathroom she followed me into the bathroom and stated please tell me what u have. She accused me of smoking a cigarette inside the bathroom, I have never smoke a cigarette a day in my life she did everything she could to get me put out this is the worst experience I had I tried to explain to the owner an he took her side again I come here every Wednesday an I know the rules an I have never ever been a problem this security lady is really jealous of all the females that appear to look better then her I will be contacting the bbb about this matter don’t go here the security is evil she is jealous an will do anything to get you put out she will make false accusations against u all because u look pretty. I honestly visited on a Wednesday. I be there every Thursday for Bingo so the Owner knows me. Went Wednesday with my adult daughter over 28 and we enter the Security Guards were very rude. Approach Awful using profanity talking to individuals unkindly remind you I peek it all just ignore them but saying wow they customer service is Awful security like trying to make a problem/fight Okay moving on you get there before I say 8 if you 21-29 you can get in. If you come after 9 or what not and your 21-29 u can't get in. My daughter 29 so by me knowing Bobby the owner I assum I can ask him politely if he can ok my daughter to come in. He rudely say no I can't she's 29 but remind you there's 21 years olds inside. I say Bobby you know me well enough I understand it's just us two I drove here for my buddy gathering who he also knows well enough we there every Thursday. can you excuse it this time he again I'm busy no!!!! The club is in a good location. It's very spacious and has a good dance floor. The tables and chairs are comfortable. Plenty of places to sit. I was there on a Friday. It's free to enter for the first 50 people and until 8pm. After that it's $10. BRING CASH! They accept nothing but cash. I vaguely recall an 🏧 in the doorway. The bartenders are very nice and professional. Loved that! The drinks are 🔥🔥🔥 None of that watered down stuff. Plus they serve food.

The downside. (Sigh) I left something in my car and told the staff that I would be right back. He said okay. I was gone only 2 minutes. When I returned he told me I had to pay $5 to get back in.😳 Then he pointed a small sign on the wall that no one could notice unless they were looking for it. I asked why didn't he tell me that before I left. His response, "I pointed to the sign" with a smirk on his face. WHAT?!! I didn't see him point to anything. Again I asked, "Why didn't you SAY something?" He just shrugged his shoulders and smirked.🤬 I can see if I was gone for 10 or 30 minutes, but 2. 🚩
