Although the food was decent, the manager was horrific. My son and I ate here after a beautiful night away for spring break, and we were greeted with a manager that was condescending, rude, and extremely unprofessional. My son ordered the breakfast tacos and I ordered a tuna melt. The menu said it came with avocado and the choice of steak fries or curly fries. I chose steak fries and added onion to the sandwich. When the sandwich came to me, they had curly fries on the plate. I reminded them that I got steak fries, and the woman said she would have to check and then the waitress came over to me and said oh that’s right. Wait, I think I wrote it down incorrectly no I did write steak fries… So they took my plate away as my son’s food sat in front of us. They brought it back a few minutes later with steak fries, which were completely overcooked and overdone. As I went to bite into the sandwich, I noticed there was no avocado on it, even though it comes with avocado stated on the menu. I then had to call the waitress over again, which took a minute or two as she was busy with someone else, and had to ask for avocado. They then took my meal away for a second time and brought it back again a few minutes later. As my son waited to eat a second time while his food got cold… I would say this whole ordeal of food going back-and-forth from the table because of one easy sandwich, my son had to wait 8 to 10 minutes in total while his food just sat there getting cold. Since this was all happening, I did not even ask to get a meal taken off the bill. I merely asked for our coffees to be taken off the bill… We had two coffees. A total of maybe six bucks… Whereas my meal was 15. The waitress responded with I would have to go ask the manager. The manager walked over to our table with her Hecock to the side and a passive aggressive and condescending smile on her face and said the waitress said that you’re having a problem with the food… I said well the sandwich was supposed to come with avocado and it did not, and the fries were wrong, even though she wrote them down correctly, and my meal had to be taken away twice from the table. She said well we fixed it didn’t we… And I said well yes but that’s not the point. Food had to be taken away from me twice while I’m sitting here. Meanwhile, my son is sitting here and his food is just getting ice cold for about 10 minutes. She looked at me again without removing eye contact made her condescending smile, even bigger and said, but we fixed it didn’t we… So the answer is no. We will not be removing any items from your bill. I looked at her and I said, but you do understand that my 13-year-old son sat here while his food was getting cold for 10 minutes while my food went back-and-forth to the kitchen multiple times. And both times it wasn’t an accident on my part. It was mistake on the kitchen part. They did not add the avocado which comes with the sandwich which is clearly stated on the menu, and even though the waitress broke down my fries correctly, they came incorrectly… And then when they returned, they were overdone and burnt… The manager then looked at me again and she said, but we fixed it didn’t we… And I looked at her and I said you know what that’s fine. No worries at all. And she smiled at me and walked away. It was the rudest, most unprofessional, most horrible interaction. Any manager should ever have with a customer… You’re telling me your restaurant messed up twice on my food while my son’s food sat here getting cold and you couldn’t take a coffee off the bill? Absolutely the worst service ever!

Very beautiful restaurant with murals on both walls showing parts of Camarillo's history! The service was very friendly and there were many food options. I got the Shredded pork omlette and it was so full of flavor!! The pork itself was very soft and tender, and the combo with the egg, onion, green chile (which was not spicy at all!), tomato, cheese, avocado and sour cream was amazing. The omlette also came with hash browns and a biscuit. Both of which i was also impressed by. The potatoes were both crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. And the biscuit was light and buttery. As a bonus, they also give every customer a free Swedish pancake with their lingonberry jam. While on the more expensive side, you truly get what you pay for. I recommend this place for your next breakfast outing with friends/ family!

Came here Sunday with my daughter for brunch. The hostess literally never made eye contact with us, from the time we stepped up to the podium to be seated to when she tossed our menus onto the table and walked away. This was in stark contrast to the smiling buser who asked for our drink order as soon as we were seated, and our server, Camilo, who was equally cheerful and attentive. Our food came quickly and steamy hot. I ordered the California Scrambled, which was good and had lots of chunks of bacon and avocado. My daughter ordered the corned beef hash. I consider her a corned beef connoisseur and she thought it was only okay; not fresh. Her country potatoes were cooked just right, though her toast was burnt. All in all not bad, but certainly not the best breakfast we've ever had.

Hostess on 12/14/24 11am shift were rude and prejudice. We were a party of 5, four of us were there but our fifth was looking for parking. Hostess says we cant sit til the whole party is there. I explained the afore mentioned but she said no and turned around. As soon as i see our 5th walking to us, i advise that the party is now complete. Hostess proceeds to call another party that arrived after us. (Caucasian family, we are latino) They were 6. I ask the hostess why she skipped us if i just advised we are all here and she said there was a misunderstanding. I don’t know what about, but ok. She proceeds to take us to a booth that sits 4! Ahhh im getting super annoyed at this point. She realized and walked us to 2 empty table that had been empty for a while and she joins the tables. As we wait for a waiter we see a couple across from us sitting drinking their coffee ready to order, about 10 minimum later 2 other people from their party join them. (How could we not sit with one person missing but they allow these other folk to sit and wait for two more???) they too were caucasian. Been here a few times and have always had a great experience. But this may just be my last. Food i know is good but that day did not taste good because of the experience. Racist and rude seems to be their new thing…...

Eggs 'N' Things (ENT) is a local favorite and I can always tell because there's always crowds of people waiting outside. It's my favorite breakfast place in Camarillo (Cam) and Camarillo has more than a handful of breakfast places. What I really love about ENT is the service, super friendly. The servers love what they're doing and they make you feel at home. They are on top of re-filling and checking on their tables, and overall it's not to long of a wait to receive your meal. As for the food I have tried their pancakes, waffles, french toast, and omelets. The pancakes are my favorite and when I usually get them I get them with eggs and bacon. I noticed one reviewer stated it's like Denny's, it can be more or less. The eggs and bacon I feel are the same across the board with all breakfast places in Cam. Pancakes (worth it), waffles (above-average), french toast (average). Value of the meal is satisfying; you get a great amount of food you pay. I always have leftovers after a meal which I enjoy later. ENT is one of THE breakfast places one should go to if one is tired of chains. It's a great place to be with friends/family without distractions (I.E. television sets), to be in each others' presence, and to have a...
