IHOP — Restaurant in Camarillo

Come here every once in a while to get the same simple thing: an omelet with the shredded jack/cheddar mixture, avocados, hash browns, sauteed green peppers and onions, which we usually order online. Typically, there is never an issue. On Mother’s Day of all days, absolutely horrible service. First, the online ordering isn’t available. Went there, placed an order, and found missing avocados, sliced cheese instead of shredded, and hardly any onions or peppers. Drove all the way back there (their phones weren’t working) to show them I had received the wrong order, and they told me they’d make me another, correctly. This time, still no shredded cheese, hardly any onions or peppers, and while the avocados were on top, the hash browns weren’t even cooked all the way. Ugh. What a...

We decided to go here after seeing a friend early that morning. The waiter was really nice, and got us everything really quick.

My wife and I ordered the tres leches pancakes because it it sounded supper amazing! We got the pancakes and all out sides, the pancakes we're good, but did not live up to their names. That wasn't a problem, they still tasted good.

We then asked for a pancake to go, specified the one we wanted, thought he knew what we wanted, we got home to find out they didn't give us the right one.... Partially our fault for not checking it before we left, but is it really for thinking they gave us the right item?

Hmm well, as soon as we got in the building the staff instanly stared at my friend's and I like we were there to steal all of their money, so that wasn't a good start. Also, we tried to get a table inside but the staff was suggesting to go outside and by suggesting I mean he was not trying to let us eat inside. After getting a table inside things got better, food took some while to get to the table but it was ok overall. One thing though the hash brown was like a straight up piece of hard toast. Tried to cut it or use the fork and nothing came off and if it did it instantly fell of the fork, it was funny to look at not gonna lie.
