Not a good experience. Our server was nice but she blamed the cooks for not making my sister's order. She didn't even notice my sister didn't have her food until my sister asked. My sister ordered potato soup and the server told her they didn't have any when she brought out the first part of the food orders. I ordered steak and when I asked for steak sauce the server brought me a brand new bottle of Worcestershire sauce that wasn't even opened but was dusty. I asked the server if she had noticed it was not steak sauce. Her response was that they ran out of A.1. a week ago and the manager said that was the closest they had. Needless to say I didn't eat the steak. At the end of the meal she brought menus so we could order dessert. Before I ordered key lime pie I asked if they had some and the server said yes. When she came to deliver the pies she told me they were out of key lime and asked if I wanted another one. I really thought she was kidding and trying to be funny but she was serious. No dessert for me. The server was at least apologetic but I think she needs some serious training. A good server would have comped a drink or something. The manager didn't even come out to say anything to us. The food was not spectacular and was just okay. Dont think I will return to...

Where to start…the food was good, which is the only reason this review gets any stars. As a chain establishment, you can expect the food and pie to be as high quality from restaurant to restaurant.

Everything else about this place was terrible.

The dining room was littered with trash and smelled strongly of mildew, as if the carpets had never been cleaned. The service was terrible. When our food was delivered, the server asked if we needed anything else we said yes, but was then informed the kitchen was closed and therefore we couldn’t get anything else, so the offer for “anything else” was pointless. That was also the first opportunity we had to ask for silverware because there was none on the table and none was offered to us. The server dropped our check immediately after. We still hadn’t received all items we ordered in the first place.

Overall this place was gross and the staff was not interested in serving our table. The server had stopped going to the table next to us and they had to flag down the host to get their check and...

Decided to try the Marie Callender's in Camarillo, CA again after staying away for a year because my children got sick last time. This time We arrived at 12 noon and went to the buffet. The entire salad bar was nearly empty, soggy and mostly spoiled. Asked several employees about it and was told "yeah the foods bad the manager won’t let us change it." Went to the manager and showed him the spoiled food, he had it all changed taking 30min. to finish, by then my family who wont eat salads after last time had finished there meals Stale French toast, hard eggs, and bacon, what a deal for $15 EACH. The general manager Greg Morin came by and asked how our meals were, I had nothing to eat and my family was eating old food most likely form morning. Marie Callender's, and everyone at ConAgra foods should be very embarrassed, Mr. Morin was not, actually it seemed like he could care less. I have never been treated so poorly at any restaurant, my family, my friends, and anyone I ever talk to will here this story. Please hire a...

When my husband and I got a chance to come to our beach house we usually stop here for some good meal. This time we stoped for a dinner and it was a great idea! My husband got the Frisco Burger with fries and it was gooooood,Those hot & crispy fries are yummyyy. I got a salmon dish (Can’t really remember what it’s call) The dish came with rice and steam veggies.I like it a lot more than I thought I would be.Salmon cooked perfect and rice are delicious! At the end we got a fresh strawberry pie (The whole pie of course) to take it home and can’t wait to have some tonight! This pie is my all time favorite! Service is very friendly and when I asked her if they still have the fresh strawberry pie left,She went take a look and confirm that they still have some and she save it for me! Can’t get any better than that. The vibe are like calm and most customers are old folks and nothing wrong with that. They were out of their pot pie this evening but we’re not worried because we’ll come back next time for sure.

Was heading to the Cracker Barrel across the freeway when I spotted this one-of-the-last Marie Callender's. Been a good 25 years since being in Marie's, experience still pretty much the same (although the days of the $5 pie specials are long gone). Prices seem to be about 10-15% above Cracker Barrel, and they also have strangely short hours just like CB - they close at 8:00. Trying for lower calorie count ona Friday in Lent so went for the crispy fish tacos, actually quite good though I'm not fully convinced that this is only 530 calories! The corn bread (which is gratis) basically doubles the calorie count, oh well, it's good.not shockingly sweet unless you hit it with the honey butter, and not dry at all. Nice crema on the tacos. Nits? Not exactly quick, even though the place was not busy, and the black beans were kind of cold. Over all, pleased to know that at least a few of these are still around. This is a franchised store.

Good option whether you want a packed meal or something light. I went twice over the last month. I just wanted some soup and pie, but the cornbread with honey butter that they give each table is too good to resist. If you want pie though, order fast since it sells out quickly. Service the 2nd time was a little lacking due to the time it took for our assigned waiter to get back to our table a few times throughout the night (good start, not consistent though), but other waitstaff were willing to help us out.
