Rori's Artisanal Creamery — Restaurant in Camarillo

As a vegetarian with a lactose intolerance, I appreciate establishments with options to appease individuals dietary preferences. Rori’s Artisanal Creamery has many fresh vegan options to enjoy on site, as well as stocked vegan pints and ice cream sandwiches to take home to enjoy. I especially enjoy the Tropical Wild Berry flavor (vegan) on a vegan cone; it is reminiscent of the Flintstone ice cream from my childhood. Very tasty and delicious. They also have a small courtyard, with several seating options, inside shared with Topa Topa and Freda’s. Everyday between 3pm and 4pm (Kids Happy Hour), kids get a free scoop of ice cream with every adult scoop purchased; that’s a great incentive to stop by...

If you go to one ice cream place in the area, make it this one!! We showed up 15 minutes after they were supposed to be closed, they had a line of people waiting and they had a sign at the end saying they weren't taking anymore customers. We lucked out because the employee, Evan, was absolutely AMAZING, he made an exception for us and let us still order (we had a very pregnant person with us that needed ice cream, stat, and we had just walked a couple blocks with some family that had slowed us down a bit, making us late)...he was kind enough to stay open for us and did it with a smile on his face. Best ice cream shop experience, hands down...thanks...

My mom and I came because of their flier in the mail and we were really pleased. I'm vegan and my mom isn't and there were delicious options for both of us. We got to try some flavors and it was hard to choose they were all so good. The Vegan Orange Chocolate was so fabulous, I hope they make it a regular flavor! My mom got the Lemon Curd and she said it tasted like cheesecake. Little higher priced but the quality makes it totally worth it (keep in mind, "artisanal" quality, not BR quality). LOVE IT!
