Backpacker Pizza 🍕 — Restaurant in Camas

Backpacker Pizza is a fantastic new addition to downtown Camas! Our salon is right across the street, so we’ve had the pleasure of watching this stunning location come to life. They did an incredible job with the remodel—it’s spacious, earthy, and creates such a welcoming vibe for indoor dining.

Now, let’s talk about the food. We tried the Thru-Hiker with chicken, and wow. From the very first bite, I was in pizza heaven! It’s been years since I’ve had a pizza perfect! The crust was everything I’d hoped for: thin, perfectly crisp, a bit chewy, and absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and balanced, and to top it off, the prices are very reasonable. To top everything off, very friendly, motivated, and awesome owners and staff. They have a wonderful family that brings so many talents to one place!

Finally got to try this place! I placed an online order and picked it up. The time estimate was right on the money. The gentleman up front was incredibly friendly and helpful. Customer service here seems to be great. We got the special and the thru hiker and holy cow, we expected it to be good, but this was next level! Tons of toppings, and every bite was like a different experience. The cheese was really top notch and don’t get me started on the pork belly. I became the emoji that has hearts as eyes.

Our expectations were pretty high based on word of mouth, and both pizzas absolutely exceeded them in every way. We will most certainly be back!

May update: We tried the supreme and the caprese with prosciutto and were blown away by both. The Caesar salad was PHENOMENAL. Really fresh greens and their dressing is outstanding. We will always order a salad...

I love pizza and Camas, so you put those two together and you get some of the best tasting pizza which has some of the best crust with a friendly environment and it makes the whole experience AWESOME! I think it actually makes the food taste even better. I keep things simple and love the pepperoni and/or pepperoni & pineapple the with light herbs. I always test pizza the next day and to my surprise the pizza reheated just about as good as it was fresh, although everyone knows you cannot beat fresh, but this is by far the best reheat I have ever had! Do yourself a favor and get over to Camas and visit Backpacker Pizza and tell them Jeremiah Stephen with State Farm said he really appreciates the Draft Rootbeer as well!!!!
