My husband and I visited The Spot on a cool Monday morning. It was out first day in Cambria and I was happy to find a place with great reviews. Since indoor dinning was still not allowed, they have seating on balcony of the back side of the restaurant. Which was really simple and casual. The balcony overlooked the parking lot of the market in the next lot but the view of all of the trees behind the market was so beautiful. I had the Breakfast Wrap and my husband had the Roasted Pork Wrap. I ordered a fresh juice and we decided to be ambitious and share the Nectarine Crepe. The wraps were so delicious. Well seasoned and perfectly toasted on the outside. We were so full after eating the wraps that we asked to take the crepe togo. Plus the juice started to clear my digestive system a lot faster than I expected 😅. We shared the crepe once we made it back to our hotel room. It was still warm. The whipped cream melted but it was still enjoyable. The nectarines were so fresh. You can tell the ingredients where freshly made and cut to order. We plan to make The Spot one of our regular stops when we visit Cambria...
Read moreThis place is awesome, we discovered it by browsing the google reviews around Cambria. It's just off Main street but that makes it easier to access and park! They have a little patio with a great view & panels to avoid sunburns, the tables are sufficiently distanced for intimacy and covid times.
The food is amazing, everything on the menu is good, it's simple but still has interesting combinations and ingredients, it's fresh and it's tasty. The fresh juices and the smoothies are very good, no added sugar or other useless ingredients, everything is made to order. The crepes are fantastic, especially the Madame, with brie and green apples, the béchamel is not heavy at all, a delicious surprise for my French palate. The sweet crepes are also very good.
We've been there three times in a row in a few days due to business and every time we enjoyed our food and the service. My husband even forgot his credit card there and we knew that it was in safe hands until we returned. Special thank you to Jesus who was our waiter each of those meals and he made it...
Read moreDiscovered The Spot in a Google search. My wife and I have been going to Moonstone Beach in Cambria annually for a few years. We were looking for something different for Breakfast. Perused their menu and was pleasantly surprised by the offerings. Breakfast wraps, bagels and crepes both sweet and savory. Most remarkable were the pictures of the food. Fresh ingredients, excellent preparation, presentation and quick service too. They do have outdoor dining socially distanced apart. We enjoyed it so well, we went 3 mornings in a row. It is located off the beaten path above the Cookie Crock. They are closed on Sunday and we ordered to take out. They have tap and pay for contactless paying. I have to mention the service by Jesus was exemplary. He is friendly, accurate and attention to detail and professional. The next time we are in Cambria, The Spot will be one of our go to stops. Please stop by for a try. Small businesses like this need our support so they can...
